Friendly staff helpful but not intrusive. The room although little small was more than adequate for our needs and the price. The room was spotless. The inn doesn’t do meals but plenty of places in walking distance. The Italian restaurant across the road was spot on. I was a little dubious about the bad reviews re parking there was enough log in screens in the bar to register your car. And the lady that checked us in was helpful with that. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent quiet room - just next to the pub. Exceptionally clean and fresh room with all facilities. The duty manager who greeted us was very professional but friendly and happy to show us our room with no rush (and he was busy that night). The staff at breakfast were also very, very friendly - but professional and didn't hurry us out at all. The breakfast was a surprise as we thought it wasn't included in the price when it was! The continental breakfast was excellent and fresh and more than adequate. Excellent value for money all round.

lovely clean warm and modern room. The bed was very comfortable with very comfy plump pillows on it. slept really well.

The room was next to the pub above a Chinese restaurant and in the evening when getting ready in the bathroom ,the extractor fan brought in onion cooking smells from the restaurant below which was quite unpleasant. Also the tv in the room was enormous. As it was so big it was hung at an angle and came out into the room making for less space. Very disappointing breakfast. Advertised as full continental breakfast but only included fruit, cereals, Croissants, and toast with jams. Would have nice to have Cheeses and hams as per the continental breakfast it was advertising.

I loved the location. Pubs and restaurants all close at hand. Andy the manager was so pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere was awesome and the set up of the place to us was beautiful. Loved the beer garden. Bedroom was so cosy and beds were great. Only a few scuffs on the wall, but besides that 10 outta 10 all round Definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here before, again my stay was excellent. The check-in was quick and staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and have everything you need for your stay. The continental breakfast has a great selection of cereals, yogurts, fruits and toast etc. The bar is friendly and a good place to relax with a drink.

Nothing. There are no meals in the Diamond but there are plenty of places to eat nearby anyway.

Main pub in central Ponteland next to river and church. They have a next door building with rooms. Check in is at the pub. Rooms were very clean, and nice decor. Parking is on site but no space when we arrived and you have to enter your car registration at the bar. Breakfast is in the main pub - no cooked but a good continental with warm pastries etc. Lovely staff. Good facilities in room.

Car parking was a bit tricky.

The property was very clean and bright good car parking facilities good bar attached with good selection of drinks ideally situated for Newcastle airport would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay

Although there are a lot of restaurants around it would be nice if the hotel had a restaurant attached otherwise it is a hotel that I would recommend

Most impressive, is the staff, all welcoming, and accommodating, and even let us check in earlier than we expected which was very kind after a long journey. The pub is authentic and lovely, fully stocked with TV and brews. Breakfast each morning was delicious with lots of choice. Food was hot, and the coffee delicious too. The outdoor area is a perfect spot with tables, tented roof for wet days or shade. A food truck was poised in the parking lot alongside the outdoor seating area, prepared for service on Saturday evening! Inside the Pub, breakfast is the only meal served so a food truck is a great option for later in the day. The pub is located across the lane in a separate building from the hotel rooms, both in proximity to walking everywhere in beautiful Ponteland. The bed was large and comfortable. The duvets so cozy. The shower was hot, with good pressure. The rooms were kept spotless by the excellent duo-team of chamber maids. The black out curtains kept us asleep for hours.

Next time, we prefer to have a room higher up on the 2nd floor which would be brighter. The family room was large enough to have a couple of kids, but in the end more space than we needed. The deluxe double would be a perfect choice for a couple, with a sofa at the end of the bed.

The location was great for us. We visited different sections of Hadrian's Wall on our 3 days, around 30 minutes to get there. Breakfast served at the hotel was delicious with quite a few choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Diamond Inn bar was a great place to relax after long days. Ponteland has a great selection of pubs and wonderful restaurants for dinner. Each of the 3 places we ate at were fantastic.

Our lovely room was a little too hot even with the heater turned as low as possible. We had the window open the entire time we were there, which wasn't a problem apart from early morning workers nearby and very early birds!

Booked up at the beginning of the pandemic and had to cancel. Once able to go ahead we booked our reunion again. Great location only 5mins from airport but not on the flight path. Friendly staff and very helpfuil. Rooms where spacious, clean and a powerful clean shower in a spotless bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities, wardrobe with hangers and shelves, ironing board and iron and a hairdryer. Not forgetting the flat screen tv. Two single beds which were very comfortable.

Nothing to dislike.. Staff on hand to answer ANY quesyions you had. Breakfast was a choice and very tasty. Not rushed and again you wanted something you just had to ask.
