As a man who values quality experiences, we recently had the pleasure of staying at the Orocco Pier Hotel, and I must say, it was an unparalleled escape that left me awestruck. From the moment I stepped foot into this exquisite establishment, I was met with an ambiance that exuded sophistication and relaxation. The first thing that caught my attention was the breathtaking view. Nestled along the water's edge, Orocco Pier Hotel boasts an unrivaled vantage point that provides an uninterrupted panorama of the surrounding seascape. But a great view is only as good as the service that accompanies it, and Orocco Pier Hotel didn't disappoint. From the moment I checked in, I was met with a level of service that felt tailored to my every need. The staff members were not only professional but also genuinely friendly, striking that perfect balance between making me feel at home and pampered. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my stay. Whether it was the impeccably clean and comfortable room, the well-curated amenities, or the delectable dining options, Orocco Pier Hotel went above and beyond to ensure that every moment of my stay was nothing short of exceptional. The restaurant on-site deserves special mention. The culinary offerings were a gastronomic delight, with a range of dishes that catered to every palate. I relished the opportunity to indulge in exquisite meals while savoring the panoramic views right from my seat. It's not often that you find a place where fine dining meets nature's artistry, and Orocco Pier Hotel seamlessly delivers on both fronts.

The one-way street that requires a 4.5-mile round trip to come back around.

The location of the hotel is superb and we found parking immediately opposite the venue, this was metered parking until 17:30 so a couple of top-ups were needed but because everything was so central it did not create a problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone

We had one issue with the room but the staff could not have been more helpful, they took steps to resolve the issue and we were completely satisfied with their approach and attitude, they were all exemplary. Problems occur in hotels but it’s the manner in which they are dealt with that determines the quality and on that score I say 10/10

This is placed in the old town of South Queensferry, which is basically a long street with small restaurants and a couple of shops, and in between the houses a lovely view to the great bridge or even go down to the sea. The bathroom seemed almost new. Towels, shampo and conditioner. Nice bed. Very nice and helpfull staff. Restaurant has a fantastic view towards the sea/bridge. We would definately stayed here again!

There were instant tea and coffee in the room but nothing to heat the water with... it was no big deal, and we didn`t ask for a solution. We just noticed.

The location is great and the bar and restaurant look out over the Firth of Forth and the Bridges. Room was a good size and comfortable. The evening meal was really good in the Samphire Restaurant. The breakfast was good.

Parking is tricky, the nearest car park (the Binks) is prior to the hotel as you come into South Queensferry, if you miss it, the one way system takes you miles out of the way, Plus when we were there, this route had a further diversion due to roadworks. The second carpark is in the one-way system but getting back to the hotel brings the same problem. We were also surprised to find our Booking.com reservation did not include breakfast, although it is included if you book direct!

This was the last stop on our Scotland/England trip. The host that checked us in was beyond friendly and helpful! We had a fantastic dinner and we dined in the cafe while looking at the MAGNIFICIENT view. I truly went with this booking JUST for that view. But everything was fabulous! The town of Queensferry is so cute! We will definitely plan a trip back and will absolutely stay in the Orocco Pier!

This was in no way a reflection of the staff.. but the entire street lost power (learned this was also an issue on Saturday so we heard) A staff member did a personal wake up call (as we had requested one) and arranged our taxi to the airport. We started our morning in the cafe with a Irish coffee compliments of the staff. And everyone was so apologetic! I felt so bad for not only the staff but also anyone beginning their vacation! I hope the issue was fixed quickly!

Great Bootique hotel on the bay with very nice historical bridge view and interesting accommodations. It was a rehabilitated older building which has the feel of a special site. Room was large, though unusual shape and bath was 5 steps down into a separate area. Enjoyed the restaurant and the special breakfast. The atmosphere was lively and pub like which was nice and food was great.

No real drop off place and parking was on the street but free. Worked out but was awkward. My room was up a few flights of steps with no elevator. I had two weeks of luggage so two heavy bags. The desk lady noticed this and had a staff help me carry with no tip expected.

Beautiful views of the 3 bridges and the Forth. Friendly and helpful bar staff - more helpful than reception staff for parking, taxis information. Lovely fresh meals.

Lack of appropriate welcome at reception- no welcome at all. Asked for name and credit card to 'charge for any damages'! As a woman of age I take exception to being asked for credit card in case I caused any damage! Never been viewed as a wrecking thug- this was a first! Whilst I was aware there was no parking, asking for suggestions was liking pulling teeth. Tainted image of hotel.

The room was spacious and spotless. Staff were attentive and check in/check out super easy. The toiletries provided were lovely, and the bathroom was large, with a great shower - very clean. The location is great if you're there to relax, lots of cute cafes and nice restaurants around. There is also free parking not too far from the hotel. Views are stunning! Overall, this is a lovely place to stay if you're looking for a place to relax and explore queensferry. It has an excellent place to enjoy a drink with a lovely view!

The restaurant is pretty pricey for what you get food wise, but I assume you're paying for the view. I would go for drinks as part of the stay but skip the food. We had better meals for cheaper or comparable price elsewhere in the area. (There is also an ace little chippie along the road). Also the mattress was a bit too soft, so not the most comfortable bed I've slept in. The room was really warm despite turning the heating off (not a huge problem once we opened the windows) though there was also no fridge which meant it was hard to keep water/drinks cool. The room was facing out to the cobbles street so it was a bit loud with cars going by - it was surprisingly busy for a weekday evening!

Room was a good size with a great view of the Firth of Fourth bridges. It was relatively quiet. The room was clean and neat.

If they could improve the ventilation, it would help. Our room was on the top floor (the former attic) so it got warm. The outside temperature was cool, but we could only open the windows on one side so there was no cross ventilation. The kitchen vent was right outside our window so leaving the windows open all night wasn't an option. A fan would have helped a lot.

The "Executive" room lived up to its name. The staff was super helpful. The restaurant has good food and views. We had an early departure for the airport and they were up earlier than us; they said farewell with some complementary glasses of orange juice.

Parking is free but consists of public lots blocks from the hotel. Definitely go left at the stop light and use the lot near there; if you go right onto the one way section in front of the hotel, the lot is far and it's like 5 miles driving back to the hotel. There are no elevators.
