The room had an amazing view and our room was clean. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
The food from the restaurant was very poor - my dinner was bland and chewy. Food prices were very high. There was limited choice at breakfast and food wasn’t very fresh. It was sadly one of the worst coffees we’d ever had. The room service menu was very limited and very expensive. We were given inactive keys to our room twice by the third attempt a different receptionist told us we’d been given the wrong keys.

The friendliness of the staff. I was greeted by Meghan and was friendly and informative answering all my questions.as soon as I arrived. Kia and Steven who work in the restaurant were both attentive and Steven made the best Mai Tai cocktail I have ever had.
The gentleman in charge of the breakfast room on my last day was the only member of staff that was not helpful. When I asked if I could have poached eggs he told me to go and speak to the chef myself. I then had to wait while the chef prepared them. The lady in charge on the other two mornings arranged for my eggs to be cooked and then brought them to my table. This may seem a bit petty but it was the only negative experience I had.

The location is amazing, it is a short 15 minute walk from North Queensferry, has a bus stop on the road next to it and has a train station a further 20 minutes from it, has very beautiful views of the bridges and the bay, very good public transport links into Edinburgh and to and from the airport, staff were also incredibly polite and friendly and eager to help with any problems you have. the room is well layed out and is nice and bright, it has one EU plug socket and had a mini fridge and hairdryer, all of which were handy.
the main issue we faced was the temperature, as it was constantly rather cold in our room no matter what the temperature was changed to, the TV was also rather old and does not support any casting features or netflix, which made watching anything quite annoying, the beds are also extremely uncomfortable with the pillows they give you being hard and the mattress is also quite firm. the bathroom is also quite poorly designed, when you use the sink it splashes off the plug outwards and the shower is rather cramped as there is a handlebar in the middle of the shower where you would want to stand.

We had the most amazing experience at Double tree , Queensferry crossing ,during Christmas break! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff (Magda) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The highlight was the beautiful upgraded room we were given, which made our family holiday extra special. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring we all felt right at home. The hotel’s attention to detail, from festive decorations to personalized touches for our celebration, truly made this stay unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the team ensured every moment was seamless and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone at Double tree Hilton ,Queensferry ,for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this.

The room was comfortable, very clean and quiet. There was a view of the Queensferry Crossing (very impressive) if you went to the end edge of the room especially to look out. You wouldn’t see the view from the main part of the room but I wasn’t staying there for the view. I attended an event near Edinburgh. The hotel was convenient for my travel -right off the M90 but no traffic noise that I could hear. The breakfast room though had a spectacular view of the bridge.
I used room service late at night because I had not had an evening meal. After 10 pm it was sandwiches only. Staff were pleasant but the sandwich was a bit of a disappointment. I would have liked something hot but I realise it’s not always possible to have an extensive menu late at night. Sort of wished I’d stopped at McDonalds! (Only joking, well, half joking)

All great - good location of power sockets to plus in lap top and devices both a desk to work and in bed to charge phone etc . Restaurant meant I could break from work to eat. Also the later 12:00 check out meant I could work in my room for longer. The breakfast alternatives and selection was excellent.
Lack of a pool :-) Also bottles of water in the fridge within the room woud have been appreciated. Thanks

Great views of the bridges from the hotel room. Appreciated the comfortable bed and the shower was great. Breakfast was good.
Service in 'The Shore' restaurant in the evening could have been better. Service was slow and the person serving us had to be reminded to bring over our drinks which arrived after our dinner! Although there were several staff, only one seemed to be serving and taking orders. I'm not sure what the others were doing but they should have been helping him. It felt like the place was understaffed.

Good location Breakfast with an amazing view of the bridge Comfortable bed Clean Clean linen for day 2 I am ranked top 10 reviewers on google.
Lifts had broken down when we checked in so we had to carry our luggage one extra floor with our toddler ( tiring but not help offered) Shower had abysmal to none in terms of pressure for cold water No complimentary water provided for day 2 For the premium cost per night breakfast should be included or some of the mentioned features should have been provided. I have stayed in double tree many times- this is the first time I have been let down.

On arrival we found the parking was plentiful and access to the reception easy and from the moment we walked in the staff were very pleasant, the entrance was a very good indication of the quality of the hotel. the room was spacious and very comfortable with everything required for our short break. breakfast was exceptionally good with plenty of choice and a wonderful view, the evening meal was of a very high standard with professional service.
on our two night stay we couldn't fault the place.

Really nice room with a great view of the Forth Bridge. Breakfast was up to usual great Hilton standard.
Despite a good sized bathroom the shower was tiny!! As a woman with long hair I don't always want to wash my hair when I shower, but with only a rainforest style shower there was no way to avoid hair getting wet as no space to move away. The walk to the hotel from the nearby train station didn't feel very safe in the dark and there were no available taxis
