Best place to stay along with family, perfect location for anyone visiting Edinburgh. 1) Hotel is close to Airport as well as to City Center. Use Airport link bus to travel (Airport -> Maybury Road) which takes 25 mins to reach to hotel and the Bus stop (Maybury Road) is right opposite to Marriot hotel. Same way from hotel (Maybury Road) to City Center (Princess Street) takes 25 mins in City Bus. 2) Good Ambience, Good Food, Good Bar, Customer Friendly Services, Good Facilities (Gym, Swimming Pool, Sauna) makes a perfect place to spend quality time with family. 3) Loads of things to do in and around City Center. Hop-In Hop-Off bus is ideal for day travel. You can buy 24 Hr Ticket or 48 Hr ticket. Highly Recommended For Family !!!

I had issues with Wi-fi connections sometimes and it was working slow not sure about the reason.

I liked the beautiful charms of the hotel that is the outstanding staff who made us feel so comfortable. I felt I was in a known place or with a family. RICARDO and IPEK went out if their way to help me out with the price matching though I had paid excess on bookings.com for the same dates. They saved my money and also gave a super late check out free of cost as we stayed for a week or so. They gave me an upgrade too when they saw me with kids so that our stay would be comfortable and peaceful. The hospitality is great I must say. Not to forget Kyle, Alba and other staff were so good when it came to even the little of requests. For sure I would love to stay here again. This is the very first time that I loved the staff so much! This Staycity branch is really lucky to have found such amazing gems.

The policy that says room cleaning would be done on the 4th day if the guest stayed for more than 7 days only. Can’t expect the rooms to be cleaned everyday or atleast every second day.

The room was clean and tidy and the service was really great. I really liked the personalized message on the television. The breakfast was excellent and great value and quantity for money spent. The service was helpful and the persons at the bar were also friendly and helpful. It definitely made my trip easier. When we got there they had checked us intto a rroom that was already occupied but a quick trip to the front desk got us relocated quick and easy.

I traveled by train so the location of the train to the hotel was a bit inconvenient as I had to walk under the underpass and then along the highway to get to the hotel. The shower made a strange noise that could have been from the water heating. (I just assumed that to be the case)

The food at the restaurant was exceptional. Always, hot, and fresh and tasty, plus good and speed service. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have been too. Before I retired I travelled alot and this is by far one of the best. I am now back on a contract and if back to Edinburgh I was stay at this facility again.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. The only thing that bothered us was everytime you flushed the toilet it made very load annoying noise. As well the doors to the rooms are well made strong doors and I suspect heavy. So when people would come and go they banged all hours of the day and night! Lastly room service plates and dishes would sit out in the hallway at times for over a day.

We discovered that the hotel was within short walking distance (via Morrisons carpark) from the local tram stop and bus stop is very close as well. It's faster and cheaper to take the tram. The last stop takes you close to the train station Edinburgh Waverley (15-20 minutes). Taxis were coming and going so there is that option too. It was lovely to have the pool, sauna and steam room and the gym looked really good too. All these facilities are next to one another on the ground floor which is handy. Staff there were very nice as well. I found the bed comfortable and it was quiet, we slept well. Breakfast is available until 10:30 on weekdays, a big bonus when travelling with kids. Each of us found what we wanted at breakfast, it was good. All in all good value for money and handy for families. This is not your luxury hotel but that is not what we wanted. We were a small group travelling with 3 teens, we wanted something comfortable and affordable not too far from Edinburgh centre. As a bonus, the restaurant gets 10/10 for serving us even though we arrived just as they closed around 10 on Sunday. We were starving and tired so it was very kind of them to let us all have a proper meal! Excellent customer service.

It would have been nice to have the option of booking a twin bed room but they're not available. Also would be nice to let customers know at check in that booking breakfast in advance works out cheaper than doing it on the morning.

Quick check in and the room was clean and smelt clean. Room was a good size and nice to have a coffee machine. Very useful to be able to park car and leave it whilst on coach trip for 3 days.Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Dinner. On both stays the restaurant was not busy. But we waited for half an hour to first have order taken and the our drinks didn't arrive and we had to ask for them when the food was served. Staff appeared to be wondering around aimlessly ad going into a panic when they realised there were dinners that wanted food and drink. Maybe if staff were allocated certain tables and concentrated on these, it wouldn't be so chaotic. Staff were polite and pleasant but lacked training/management maybe.

Location perfect just by the tram. Breakfast was very good apart from a coffee/tea machine. For the price paid I would have expected table service and better coffee. The room was nice and quiet and on ground floor for easy access, I walk with a stick, but would have thought a shower more practical than shower over bath . Generally room v good, duvet a little thin.

Coffee machine in room was a bit of a waste, thin duvet on bed. A walk in shower would have been better. And for the price table service for breakfast, at least for proper ( not machine) tea & coffee, and then self service.

Reception staff accommodated early check-in and was very knowledgeable about timing of second room availability. Accommodations very comfortable with plenty of space. Large breakfast spread to satisfy all family members!

Liked everything about the stay!

calm and clean and it has got leisure opportunities, the hotel was so close to many things, such as city center , the zoo, the restaurants, shops, cafès mall, and the cramond beach, during 5 nights I could visit the zoo, Edinburgh castle , cramond beach, the museum, city center, all these place are too close to the hotel, I have enjoyed my holidays there.

nothing except the noice of the last two days in the hotel, there have been some constructions I think, it wasn’t the right time to fix something, it was at 8am, personally I like to sleep longer in my holidays, other than that in the buffet there was sausage on the breakfast but wasn’t halal, I would like to find a halal alternative for the next time .

The location makes it easy to get into town and is convenient for the airport and many businesses. The choice at breakfast was exceptional. Staff were wonderful and the quality was high. I loved the haggis and would have liked the option of porridge and potato scones to reflect local delicacies.

The computers weren't working when we checked in. They kept me late for an appointment and I didn't feel that staff sufficiently recognised this. We were shocked by the parking charges of £8 a day. We didn't like having to pay £100 on deposit, especially as I don't have a credit card.
