I cannot recommend this hotel enough, they are superb, whilst on the way to the hotel my car broke down when stuck in a massive traffic jam which required a lift home to pick up another car, so I phoned the hotel and spoke to Phil who I believe was the manager to explain the situation as I had no idea if we would actually get there and if so what time. He said it wasn't a problem and even sent a video of how to get to the room should all the staff have gone home. We finally arrived some 8 hours later at 12.30 and followed the directions to the room which was splendid. We were due to meet friends for dinner and they missed our call to say we were not going to get there in time and turned up expecting to see us but Phil explained the situation and they stayed and had dinner which they said was excellent and these are fussy people! I was absolutely delighted with the service we received, well done and thank you all.
Absolutely nothing, they bent over backwards to look after us.

It's not the Hotel we normally book when we are in the area. Our regular hotel wasn't available but I'm so glad it wasn't. This place is a little gem. Perfect location as we were attending a nearby event. Good parking, food was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive, the room was great, really quiet despite the Pub/Restaurant being very busy. The room even with an outside space had the weather been warm enough. Far better that the hotel we've been using for years and for only a slight increase in cost.
Nothing. The only down side if any was that the Restaurant was incredibly busy and rather noisey at times which might not suit everybody. Not necessarily a bad thing as people wouldn't go there if it was no good.

We stayed in The Hayloft, everything about the property screams comfort and luxury. The room was stunning with a huge queen bed that gave a great nights sleep. The bathroom was pure luxury and the view from the room even allowed sight of the steam trains passing if you caught them at the right time. With its own separate area to hang coats, before entering into an area purely for your clothes and drink making facilities before entering into the main bedroom, it feels like your own little suite. I could not recommend The Manor House enough and will definitely be returning, everything from the room, staff, food and atmosphere was perfect.
Nothing to dislike. Personal preference would be the addition of a small fridge to hold fresh milk/drinks.

Almost everything. The staff were brilliant and accommodating. The rooms were exceptional and the shower and bathroom were superb as my husband has Alzheimer's and he was able to navigate the room with ease. He especially loved the shower. Great breakfast menu.
We chose to eat in and found the dining area very noisy. This probably wasn't a problem for most people but for my husband with Alzheimer's it was an issue as he couldn't hear me and conversation was difficult. I don't think an option to move would be accommodated as the restaurant was popular and full. We also ordered steaks which were lovely but arrived with the wrong sauce. This was changed but by then the peppered sauce which was not ordered had overtaken the steak. The chocolate brownie dessert, may I add was a big hit.

We had a comfortable room and stay at the Manor House. The bed was large and comfy. The bathroom had a luxurious walk-in shower. We found the room quite warm but a fan was provided. The accommodation is attached to the gastro pub and grounds. This provides the ability to relax and enjoy al fresco dining in the evening. There was a good breakfast selection at a reduced price for guests.
Perhaps the rate should include breakfast?

Beautiful room and bathroom facilities, really nicely decorated and felt luxurious due to being so large and spacious. Helpful friendly staff, fab house keeping. Room kept spotless and fresh everyday, they were very accommodating as we often didn't go out till lunchtime but they still always made up our room and never disturbed us. Great gardens, right next to an old steam railway and the pub was also very nice and clean inside and out.
Bed was a little too soft for us, but I'm sure for some this would be fine. It was also really noisy so just rolling over was loud and I'm not very heavy, but it's the style of bed so not much can be done, again it's just personal preference. Sadly there did not seem to be much in the way of sound proofing so our only real negative was when the people above us walked around/ showered/ talked etc it was pretty loud and did keep us awake a couple nights.

The accommodation is a series of nicely done buildings which are part of a country pub complex. It’s a lovely pub and when you stay there you feel both part of it and removed from it, whichever you prefer.
The room I stayed in had a little courtyard with table and chairs right outside. This was a nice touch though right beside a fence where the pub garden is with tables there, so it can get a bit noisy for as long as pub guests are there.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Manor House. Spacious, nicely furnished room with large comfortable king size bed. Beautiful spacious bathroom. Excellent refreshment tray. The young lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. Good choice on cold buffet and hot food ordered was very nicely presented and delicious.
The only small thing I would have appreciated was a shower cap. I usually bring my own but forgot this time.

It's a natural beauty, in a stunning location. My car broke down on leaving, and a total of 5 members of staff came to help me. It was wonderful. The evening meal was out of this world. Very well staffed at all times, so the waiting times for anything are super short - all the staff, even though young, were friendly, very polite, and extremely helpful. I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know.
The bathroom ceiling in The Stable could do with a slight decoration and the fan renewing, as it doesn't work. Also, the toilet handle was twisted, and I caught my finger a few times on flushing.

Lovely room and very clean, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good and freshly cooked and reasonably priced (I liked the discounted price for hotel residents). Loads of parking. Quorn is an attractive village and it was a 20 min stroll into the centre.
The only things missing in the room were a small fridge and a desk/writing table. That said I could sit on the bed and put my computer on the chest of drawers.
