The hosts, Christopher and Caroline turned our first night in Scotland into a blissful memory, which we will keep on sharing. It didn't come as a surprise that Christopher is a skilled cook and Caroline a talented photographer, as their lovely house offers an inspiring tour through various places, and times - framed on the walls , and published dishes on bookshelves. Christopher's bread was just as amazing as Caroline's photograph taken in Botswana.

We really enjoyed the location, which was very quiet and peaceful. Lovely garden and see view. Within walking distance of a local eatery. We saw a pheasant in the garden, and Christopher says they often have deer in the field beyond the garden. Christopher was very welcoming and friendly. He provided good info on a choice of eating places nearby. I enjoyed the homemade granola and yoghurt included in the simple continental breakfast, but it wasn't really to my husbands taste. We slept well due to the peaceful surroundings.

I didn't dislike anything, but felt that for the cost, i would have expected a simple cooked breakfast. Especially as Christopher is such a wonderful cook. Also some heating on in breakfast room would be more comfortable, as it was too cool for me, as not quite summer yet. I felt the wooden boards supporting the mattress, are sticking out, and presents a safety issue. Towels and bedding could do with an upgrade. These are my observations, which I feel would enhance the overall experience of a stay in the property.

Homemade breakfast to go. Location is in a rural area.

No lock on door. Its in a very rural area so was assured there was no need but I would have felt more at ease. Would have liked my towels changed during the week.

Breakfast was fantastic, it was all fresh produce from their own garden and freshly baked bread. Location was excellent for exploring the east coast of Scotland.

We cannot think of anything that could have been improved.

Christopher and Caroline are wonderful hosts, we had our own delightful space, yet were made to feel very welcome and at ease when passing through their lovely home. The breakfasts were delicious (full of home-grown goodness) with a fabulous view from the window of the sea and countryside. The gardens, local paths to the beach and nearby Upper Largo were all within a gentle walk. The house is situated with easy road access to all the beautiful towns along the gorgeous Fife coastline. The East Neuk is a gem to discover!

A real old Scottish charm experience! Christopher our host made our stay very relaxing and welcoming. We love the old charm that the property provided.

The bed was very soft for our liking. If it had been a little better, this review would be an excellent spot to stay

Christopher and Caroline were absolutely tip top hosts. It felt like we were staying with chums. Breakfast was spectacular and their home is beautiful. Brilliant location if you are waking the West Highland Way.

We only wish we could have stayed longer...
