I have stayed in the Hampton by Hilton Westhill before and choose it again for different reasons. The location is ideal if you want to avoid travelling through the centre of Aberdeen. There is access to public transport into Aberdeen and a park and ride facility. It is also well located for travel to Alford, Inverurie, Banchory and south to Stonehaven. The staff from reception, to room maintenance and in the Bistro were all welcoming and helpful. A new experience for me was ordering a meal and paying for it by bar code. I asked the receptionist to help and she guided me through the process. There are no waiting staff but your meal is served to you. The menu is small and basic but there are facilities in the area. The Shepherds Rest, Take Away facilities in Westhill. I was also able to go to Costco before I travelled home. The only difference from my previous stay and this is there are building works adjacent to the hotel but because I was there are the weekend there was no noise or any other problems with this. The room has everything you need. A comfy bed, lots of towels, a TV, phone to reception, Shampoo and Soap for the shower. I think this hotel also has accessible rooms. There is an iron, iron board and a hair dryer. Tea and Coffee facilities and a note to ask for additional supplies if needed. I have stayed in hotels in the centre of Aberdeen and found these to be very noisy from traffic and people moving about. The parking facilities in town are poor. There is also a recent change to how traffic can move about the centre of Aberdeen ie bus zones and restrictions which I did not want to navigate.

I think information on facilities in the area ie shops, pubs. Places to visit. Tourist information. Either in paper form or on a TV channel. Although there are tourist leaflets in the foyer.

Exceptionally clean, very modern and welcoming reception area and lovely rooms with everything you could need. The value was outstanding as we only paid around £55 including breakfast, which was lovely. The chef even made fresh waffles for my nephew and the cooked breakfast was really nice. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful and our stay was seamless. I would stay again in a heartbeat. It is a little out of town but if you drive or don’t need to be in the city centre every day, it’s perfect. The gym was also VERY well kitted out for a hotel gym. My sister and I are very into weight lifting and we were quite pleasantly surprised.

Honestly nothing! I would have been happy to pay double what we paid.

The hotel is new and everything nice and clean. The rate per night was why we decided to stay in this hotel. Plenty of parking👍🏻 The breakfast was fairly decent, and I enjoyed it apart from the juice machine that was out of order...

The mattress was very firm, almost uncomfortable. I felt like I'll bounce out of bed whenever my other half moved. TV was not working.

Friendly staff! Always greeted with a smile on entry. The entire hotels modern and clean. Ample parking. Rooms are on the larger end

It's a minor gripe -continental breakfast starts at 0630 however, hot food doesn't actually come out until 0700 by that time I've left.

Having to order an evening meal with an app was a little dissapointing especially when your room is booked and paid for by your employer and the app asks to charge it to the room, this was sorted out by Zoe on reception very efficiently.

Lovely and new, clean and modern. Everything you could ask for in a hotel and great value. There was a great breakfast included with freshly made waffles. Staff were very nice, couldn't fault this hotel at all. Very happy customer, would recommend and would return.

Bad acoustics in openplan area. No poached or fried eggs for breakfast. Apart from that it is very difficult to find any negatives.
