On arrival my wife and I were soaking wet after a day of cycling in heavy rain. Dave was very helpful organising a place to store and recharge our bikes. As I am partially disabled Dave carried out bags to our room, The room was very comfortable clean and tidy. Dave advised us to go to the Ploughman for dinner. It was a perfect choice, within 200metres of the BandB, great choice of food, and with a nice atmosphere. It was perfect. The bed was really comfortable and gave us a sound sleep. In the morning we met Alison who served us breakfast. She was very attentive to all the guests. The menu for breakfast was extensive and we enjoyed our choice greatly. Our stay at this lovely BandB was most enjoyable, and we thank Dave and Alison for making our stay most enjoyable.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Lovely front view with a balcony! Large double bed super comfortable with good quality linen provided. There was also a small settee and a table with 2 chairs. Bathroom well equipped and complimentary toiletries supplied. Good quality towels. Great peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast room was lovely. I booked the table for 7.30am and gave my breakfast order the night before (my preference but not required) as i was leaving early for a meeting. Alison was there and my breakfast was lovely. I ordered an omelette and toast which was lovely. There is a Co-op just 8 min walk away and a selection of restaurants. Free onsite parking was available when I arrived. If you like a read there seems to be a book for any taste available. I would happily recommend to family and friends

Staff very helpful carrying luggage up and then down stairs for me, Property on main road , easy to locate but no noise at all heard in room. Breakfast offered very nice choice with fresh fruit salad, fresh juices, yoghurt, cereals, porridge and a full range of cooked items.

My room was up two flights of stairs, which I did manage but at my age it would be better to be lower down. However proprietress did apologise as soon as she met me and said all other rooms had been booked too.

The hosts have been friendly and very thoughtful. We arrived close to dinner time, and they had already a reservation for us in a close place in case we wished (quite useful especially since the options in the town are limited). They actively gave us very useful information about location and how to get around. The room had a lot of space and we easily found ourselves as at home. We really enjoyed our breakfast and our questions/requests have been handle very kindly.

A fantastic stay. The room was fantastic and such a good size for our family of 4. My 1 year old had so much space to move around which made getting ready for a wedding so much easier. The room had everything we could have needed. Breakfast was fantastic and catered personally to our children's wants and needs. The host couldn't do enough for us. Would 100% recommend if you are in the area.

Our hostess Alison was wonderful. She was very helpful, lots suggestions for things to do and see. She made reservations for us a restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast was wonderful. We each had something different and thought it was our best breakfast in Scotland so far. I have to say, her sidekick Stanley was an unexpected delight

It was such a pleasure to stay at Furain, Alison and Dave were super welcoming and relaxed at the same time. Furain is a wonderfull place to stay, Peterculter is close to the hills and the city is around the corner at the same time! Doggy Stanley just made the whole stay complete. Delicious every morning & staff lovely, friendly & helpful. Lots to see & do in area. Delicious meals at local pub short walk from Furain & dinner at local Italian restaurant for my birthday was also delicious 😋

No complaints at all & would gladly recommend to anyone back home thinking of travelling to Scotland

Our room was clean and comfortable and equipped with a tv and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was lovely and Alison was very friendly and chatty and gave us some great recommendations on routes to take and cafes to visit. Would highly recommend Furain for anyone staying around Aberdeen.

The twin room I shared with my nephew was nice and quiet at the back of the building. We had a really nice cooked breakfast on both days. Our hosts were really friendly and we had a nice chat with them. We were going to a wedding at Maryculter House so it was a five minute drive from there.
