Very clean hotel, bedrooms a little on the small side but nicely decorated & plenty of USB charging points. Good shower & comfy queen bed. Great buffet style breakfast. Need car or it is a £10 taxi to Sevenoaks.

There was no information in the room about checkout times or WiFi code. We spent a long time waiting for the receptionist to get off the phone at check in & therefore probably will be fined for taking too long in the car park. The hotel have promised to cancel the fine if it happens. Moral is log every number plate every time friends drop off or pick up.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming. Rooms a nice size, I was on top floor overlooking car park, very big bed and super comfy. Tea/coffee, biscuits and water in room along with hairdryer and toiletries. As only 2 nights we said don’t worry about cleaning. Got back from day out and a bag was on door handle with more tea/coffee/milk/biscuits and toiletries. A really nice touch

One person in dining room in the morning and didn’t really replenish when it got to 9.30. If it says breakfast till 10, and they don’t want to replenish they should at least ask if there is anything you’d like that isn’t out. Also really messy and tables not cleaned but as only 1 member of staff understandable. Staff also seemed to be he,ping themselves to breakfast whilst we were still in the restaurant having breakfast. Surely they could wait till after 10

Reception staff were excellent, efficient, friendly & helpful. The restaurant staff were friendly. Hotel & room were clean & well maintained & bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower & bathroom. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice. Nice evening meal apart from dessert. Good car park with plenty of spaces. Excellent evening entertainment.

It was a little chaotic in the restaurant with a lack of communication at meal times. Would have liked a fridge in our room. Dessert in the evening meal was supposed to be pavlova but turned up as a meringue nest with some cream & strawberry & mango coulis.

I stay during the week, so can’t comment on weekends. Love the rooms and comfortable beds. Great hairdryer and products in the bathroom. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and have obviously taken on previous criticism as now give details on room cards and process. Might be an idea to ask if you’ve stayed before (my 4th time) so don’t need to go through this? Flickering bulb in my bathroom was fixed when I reported it. Food is great and reasonably priced. Breakfast is always good and really lovely waitress, she makes me smile in the morning! Everything, from public areas to bedroom, are really clean. Not sure if it’s a new manager, but the general customer service has improved a lot. Staying again in July for my 5th visit, which is a good sign!!

Bar service. The staff are great when they’re there, but can wait quite a while for them to come through.

It was clean, the shower was brilliant, didn't even get your arm wet when turning it on, lovely front garden and very friendly staff

Unfortunately we had a hen party staying the same night, we voiced our concerns at reception on checking in, we were reassured that we were on a different floor, nope we were not, at 12.30am we had what sounded like a heard of elephants running up and down the corridor swearing and shouting very loudly that they couldn't find there room and then proceeded to bang on doors and try door handles, we were not impressed, we could not mention this when we checked out as no one was on the reception desk and there was a box to put our door key/card in for fast checkout. I know we can't blame the hotel as such but maybe not take booking with large number or male or female parties.

Location, friendly staff, ease of access to everything including a good restaurant, taxis, trains, 24 hour reception.

they have a good parking area and areas for taxis and private vehicles to pick up and drop off. However, they have a camera surveillance system where they will issue a fine of £100 for vehicles dropping off passengers or using the restaurant. We registered a vehicle’s details with reception but still received a letter demanding that a fine be paid for parking there. it was sorted via a phone call. We used taxis often but the majority of drivers told us they didn’t like going to Donnington Manor because they had to leave their cabs, go to reception and register their vehicle details every time they got a fare to or from the hotel. One airport taxi company wanted to charge us £100 extra because they were picking up from this hotel. Their parking system is spoiling their reputation.

lovely room, nice staff and nice bar. all very clean and the bathroom is particularly nice

went for breakfast on Sunday morning and there weren’t enough tables in the restaurant for everyone to sit down at the same time. clearly they were short staffed as clearing tables and getting enough cutlery out for use ( we sat outside and it was fortunately sunny and warm) of all the customers who arrived at a similar time. breakfast itself was really good but need more tables and more staff when the hotel is well booked up on a Sunday morning for breakfast.

The room was lovely and very clean and comfortable. Having a small table and a chair for my laptop was very nice rather than sitting at a vanity. Bed was lovely and big. Temperature in the room was good and adjustable. Breakfast was hot and eggs came quickly, even though I could see it was very busy.

Embarrassed to admit the keyless door confused me a bit, I couldn't understand how it worked initially. As a solo traveller it did make me feel uneasy. So I double locked the door and felt better.

Eclectic range of furnishings and décor and modern fittings in the rooms, in contrast to the tired old-fashioned rooms usually found in this type of hotel. Also, an accommodating bar with quick snack service. The management seem keen to adopt the latest tech to aid bookings and the stay. Its is clear they are continually investing in ideas and display. This is a warm and comfortable place. Easy parking and good breakfast.

Its a busy and popular place, so there is an odd bit of tired decor that needs to be bought up to the standard of everything else, this is not a criticism, but advice, as I like this place, I would also look at the stair carpets.

The hotel was lovely. Staff friendly. Room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the actual hotel.

Location was quite rural (1 mile ish to a tesco/cash point!). No cash facilities on site. We also were going to a family party 6 mins away and the taxi was 20.00 so that was expensive in my eyes. If you need a taxi make sure you book in advance. We waited until we arrived, but the taxi company who the hotel use, was fully booked. We had no choice but to drive to the venue and catch a taxi the next morning which wasn't a major issue. Bolt or Uber was unavailable for some reason! Great hotel but not much around!
