The twin room was very good, quaint if a little small. Coffee making facilities were excellent.

Our son joined us for dinner in the restaurant. He ordered medium rare steak and had to send it back as it came as rare. The replacement was only marginally better. My steak was supposed to be medium but it tended to be on the rare side. It therefore appeared that the chefs did not know what they were doing. My wife had a trout salad, but would have preferred an actual piece of fish rather than shredded. Overall disappointing!

Superb venue - three distinct bars and a separate restaurant, you can have a night out just moving around the same building. Evening meal was excellent. Outdoor drinking area is mint - can't wait to return when the weather's better and actually make use of it.

The only thing which could have improved the stay would have been mine and my wife's bed being the same size as my daughter's in her room - which was enormous :-)

Loved the room especially the shower & toiletries suplied🙂 & breakfast! Great choice & food quality the bed was very comfortable, i loved the fact there was a fridge/bar in the room for our personal snacks! it was quiet with no road noise with friendly staff & lovely village type location

There wasnt any dislikes, the only thing that let it down slightly was the slightly neglected hallway with stained carpet and damaged walls, also the lack of a locked door between the hotel rooms & the public pub & restaurant downstairs although there was keycard access for such a door it was always open... just a small thing

This is such a quirky hotel - beautifully decorated but also very well equipped. Bed and pillows are really comfortable, the extras in the room are excellent (coffee machine, kettle, different types of tea, fresh milk in the fridge) and the shower gels, shampoos, etc are gorgeous ... you can actually buy these to take home with you. I arrived too late for dinner but the bar & restaurant were busy; clearly popular with locals which is always a good sign. Breakfast was excellent

There was nothing I didn't like.

This was a last minute stay which I booked very late, I called as I didn't see the checkin of 10pm until I'd already booked and was stuck at work so wouldnt make it in time for that, the staff who picked up reassured me everything was fine, asked an approximate time of arrival and gave me information of how to get in if I happened to be later than that, she was so lovely and when we arrived she was super helpful. The room was gorgeous, plenty of snacks and drinks available if we had wanted them, really great place to stay thank you.

Liked pretty much everything. Twin room was smallish but very pleasant, beds were extremely comfortable. Great coffee machine in room. Beer garden was large and attractive, and we were lucky enough to have some Morris dancing going on for half an hour or so, which was entertaining!

The lady serving on the bar in the evening … she was soooo unpleasant we mentioned her to the receptionist the following morning. She was devoid of any personality and never smiled once, despite attempts by us at verbal interaction. The phrase ‘miserable as sin’’ springs to mind. All the other staff there were lovely. Special mention to the lady on reception who was very friendly and helpful, and the young guy with long hair working the other bar, both great 👍🏻

Nice decorative room. The Hamper was a lovely touch and had a great variety of treats (Including Cadburys hot chocolate) Bed was very comfortable and the walk in shower was great

The chair lamp did not work. Air con pipework cover was missing though the AC worked. Paint peeling in a small patch on the wall

We had a comfortable room with an excellent shower. Dinner was very good-excellent salmon followed by sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream. We also enjoyed breakfast and there was a good selection of options including eggs benedict, royale and florentine. Staff were helpful and friendly

Some fruit salad &/or a better selection of fruit would have been good at breakfast.

We have had held many family gatherings and parties at the Bull as the facilities are excellent and staff very friendly and professional

This is the first time that I had stayed overnight and the only problem that I had was with the air conditioning which seemed to only blow out hot air and as the rooms were extremely hot even with the unit switched off this made it a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. My brother also had the same problem with his room. But on a positive note the hotel area was very impressive and the rooms were of a very high standard and excellent value for money

Friendly and attentive staff. Sparkling clean new bathroom and comfortable bed. Red boudoir paint scheme not to my taste but can’t fault comfort and level of equipment. Plenty of parking. Central location.

The air con/ heating unit was noisy so turned off before sleep.
