Booked a two night stay and was delighted with the stay. Room - A newly refurbished boutique bedroom, our double room was spacious and luxurious. Bed and pillows super comfortable. Tea & coffee facilities in room. En suite was lovely and the toiletries were a nice touch. Smart Tv and good wifi. Everything was clean and dust free. Housekeeping is offered and a replenishment of towels, toiletries, tea and  coffee if staying more than one night. Location - The location is pleasant and overlooks Chislehurst Common. Parking was not a problem with lots of space on road outside the premises. Breakfast was fab and a great choice, the dining room was beautiful. Outside there is a spacious courtyard. Staff were friendly, professional and extremely accommodating with any requests we had. Will be staying again in the near future

Loved the superior double room with balcony overlooking the common. Pretty planters too and nice to sit out in the warm weather watching the world go by. Really relaxing. Lovely decor in room with character and interest. Very comfortable and spacious.

Overall very satisfied just the thought the quality of breakfast ingrediients could have been bettter. The sausages seemed poor quality and the bacon was bit flimsy. Think a good quality back bacon would have been better for a cooked breakfast. Roasted mushroms very tasty though. No reflection on the cook of the breakfast just the quality in parts.

High standard of recent renovation. Beautiful interior design very welcoming feel in decor . We stayed in a Superior King room with balcony overlooking The Common . Breakfast was a highlight. Garry the chef was most a delight but he wouldn’t part with his porridge recipe ( I don’t even like porridge usually).

Nothing really comes to mind . Possibly larger suction mat in shower .

Welcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast included. Lovely large bedroom and comfortable roomy bed.

When we arrived around 10. 30pm radiator was cool. We did mention this to the friendly male member of staff and were told the heating would kick in after a couple of hours. It didn't - and in the morning the room and bathroom were so cold that we couldn't face showering - even though water was nice and hot. The thought of getting dourselves dry in the cold put us off. When we returned our key after breakfast we were really enthusiastic about abour the so many positive aspects of our stay but did mention the cold radiator in the room - the thermostat was set on high but the radiators were totally cold. The pleasant lady, who we handed the key to, told us she would look into the reason why the radiators were not heating up.

Room well furnished and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good - we ate there when we arrived and breakfasted there 3 times. Breakfast was prepared and served (not a buffet type) and it was good thick toast.

Cobwebs on the ceiling and spider in the bath! Room was a little warm for my preference but the windows opened onto a quiet street which made it more comfortable. Bed very soft - again it's a preference thing rather than anything - as I prefer a firmer mattress. There's a green light that burns all night and that woke me several times, I think it may be a safety feature but it was right above the bed and I am a 'blackout' sleeper.

The property had apparently recently reopened after an extensive renovation, and the owners have done a very good job.

Evidently because service wasn't yet fully ramped up, several items on the breakfast menu were unavailable for the first few mornings of our stay. It got better though! There were no drawers for storage in our room, apart from a few tiny ones in the night tables.

Room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Food was delicious but quite small portions. Good choice of beers and the outside beer garden was very pretty. Staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming.

The breakfast was all table service, which is quite unusual. No cereals or pastries which are always a treat! However, the chef did cook a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed.

This property is one of the best Inn’s I have ever stayed in …. In fact it is THE best. Staff so polite, friendly and accommodating… nothing is too much trouble. Decor in both pub, restaurant and rooms is absolutely beautiful, immaculate and spotlessly clean. The location is also fabulous…. Can’t believe it is soo close to the city. I will definitely return but this time on a social visit.

Everything went very well. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I was travelling with my parents for a family funeral and knew that we would be late arriving the first night and enquired if a small snack could be arranged when we arrived as I knew that the restaurant would be finished. I was advised to check the menu for the sandwich options and email order. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, tea and sandwiches made available, all of which made the start of our stay very positive. Breakfasts on both mornings were great, lots of options, with exceptional service provided by Teresa.

We have stayed here many times before. Last year it needed a refurb. This year wow what a difference. Exceptional. We stayed in a one of the superior rooms. The little touches to the room were delightful.

Full Breakfast was very good but very limited menu. There were no cereals or fruit to be had. I found that strange. There was a compote on the menu but I would have like fresh fruit.
