Seemed to be short staffed , the same lady seemed to be booking in, reception, waitress and serving in the bar Gave the impression the place was struggling

The property was lovely, well located and the rooms were clean. There was available parking in the grounds and staff were attentive and accommodating.

There was no bedsheet on my bed just a mattress cover and duvet. There is no independent heating /cooling system just a rickety fan in the room, for a superior double room, I was expecting more than that. Check out at 11am is too early, it should be 12pm.

Lovely place. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Decent/reasonably priced breakfast.

We stayed at the Manor to celebrate my wife’s birthday at Chapter One restaurant which is a 10 minute drive away. We were in two minds whether to drive or get a cab but decided to drive and have a few drinks when we got back having been told that the bar would be open until 11pm. we arrived back around 9:50 only to find the bar was closed. We appreciate that there was a wedding on but it did spoil our night a little and somewhat defeated the main reason we stayed here in the first place (we only live a 30 minute drive away but obviously wasn’t going to drink and drive).

Lovely character building and beautifully well maintained gardens. Very quiet and secluded. Too was lovely and large enough to swing mor than a cat or two!!

The only comment I’d make was there was a bit of lack of table surfaces in the room to put things on as the bedside tables were large and there was no room for anything else on them. And the only other area was a little table but that held all the tea/coffee/kettle. But maybe I just take too much ‘stuff’!!

Nice place, rooms adequate and staff friendly. My partner says she liked the pillows!?!

Curtains broke, cobwebs and no fridge for room.

Beautiful manor house, ground were lovely. Fan available in room due to hot weather. Staff were polite and helpful.

No staff around for check out, would help if there was a box to drop off the key.

The property is tastefully done. The room sizes are generous. Wonderful staff

Not easy to walk to anything like stores nearby as I did not have a car

I lied the location , though the traffic first thing in the morning was very high. did not realise it was next to a school Great food and the staff were lovely , really accommodating, thank you. . the room was nice , good decor and facilities.

the bathroom did need a touch up and the shower need a bigger head and more effective shower screen.

Didn’t have breakfast. Location was excellent, nice and quiet.

Was only there for the night. What was there not to like?

The breakfast was good, the staff friendly and helpful.

The water pressure from the over bath shower was rather weak. As the bath was high it would have been helpful to have a grab handle. The cupboard space was not high enough or deep enough for clothes.
