Our room was lovely with a huge bed. Very friendly helpful staff and a surperb breakfast that we really enjoyed. It was lovely to be ablt to park the car in your grounds as well. Also it was a big help being so close to the town where we walked to. Thank you

The bathroom was the main problem. Athough it looked lovely, it far far from ideal to use. I had difficulties turning the knob to operate the water to the shower and usually had to ask my husband to do this for me, plus I really missed having taps in the bath. Another problem with the bathroom was the speed of water from the hand basin tap. We often got soaked by this tap, plus the floor got very wet, this making it rather dangerous especially with the glass door. I hope no one has had a nasty accident over this. This is a real pity about the bathroom. However we did enjoy our stay and would love return to your hotel, as everything else was so good.

Room nice and big - but we were given a room without an outside window - but we were moved when we requested a change. Not enough hooks etc for towels. Air conditioning clearly not working for some time as there was a small heater and fan in the room. Breakfast good selection - but the hot food needed to be hotter. We ate in the restaurant on a Saturday night and although the menu was typically pub grub I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cooking. The fries were the hottest / crispiest I have tasted. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Lights in bathroom not all working - warn people beforehand that some rooms do not have an outside window.

The receptionist was lovely. She was professional, efficient and really pleasant. She even escorted me on the stairs as I have a fear of lifts. Booked us in for a later breakfast slot as we were going to a party elsewhere and therefor did not have to rush the following morning. Very pleasant again in the morning and remembered our night out and asked how we enjoyed ourselves. Fabulous young lady.

The bathroom could do with a freshen up or at least the bath and towel rail. Towel rail is chrome and has a lot of rust spots on it now. The bath could do with resealing and regrouting on the tiles.

Clean, comfortable and functional hotel. Surprisingly quiet given it’s on a main road - in particular the courtyard area out the back is a nice, tranquil area to sit and chill. 10 mins walk to the station / town centre. Good value if you book well in advance (I paid £70 for a double room with bath).

I had to wait a long time to be checked in and the receptionist didn’t acknowledge this, and seemed generally disinterested. The bathtub was made for a hobbit, not an adult human.

Comfortable bed, excellent room and hotel facilities, shower & bath in the room I booled. Great choice of food and drink options available to choose from.

The window in the room was able to be closed, so that no air could come in to the room, however it wasn't able to be shut properly. There was a group of prison officere and the males in this group, were swearing constanly. I was only 2 items that weren't in the breakfast buffet which were muesli and black pudding.

Staff were really friendly and went above an beyond to help us with anything we needed. This included the front desk staff sorting out taxis for us, and the night receptionist helping us when our room key would not swipe.

The side entrance window/door could do with fixing as it is not the most welcoming.

Very friendly and helpful staff. High standards of cleanliness. Good choice of food and good quality. Breakfast much better than expected and a bonus as I didn't realise it was included in the price

It's not the best location, maybe, although convenient for exploring beyond the immediate vicinity. Weather was very poor when I visited, which unfortunately impacted the visit and my impression of the area.

Location was great and room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection was great.

There was a buzz/hum in the room whilst going to sleep, although I heard this, it didn’t keep me awake. This maybe an issue for a light sleeper. I would also recommend putting covers over the cold selection of meats and cheese as these were looking a little dried out. There was also no hot water for a shower one morning, although I put this down to the peak time of usage over whole capacity.

Myself and my husband stayed in the Holiday Inn while visiting our son who lives in Kent. It's the first time we have stayed there and we found it a lovely place to stay. We only stayed 1 night but found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. There is parking on site and it is also close to the town centre which is not far to walk. We had a lovely breakfast before checking out. There was a good choice from fruit, cereals, yoghurt to cooked breakfasts and toast.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Stayed here many times when I’m working in the area. I choose this hotel because the standard of the rooms is far superior to many of the others locally.

The only issue I have is when I book the room to pay at the property they ALWAYS attempt to take the payment before I arrive. This is not good. If I don’t show then I expect to be charged if I haven’t cancelled within the appropriate time, but I don’t expect to be charged prior to my arrival because I often change my method of payment depending on who I’m working for.
