Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was very good (garden room) was very humid during our stay so room was humid too but the fan was very useful. The outside seating area was very nice. We had a Sunday lunch which was amazing, and the breakfast was very good too. All in all it was a great stay. Only problem was there was a wedding in the community hall opposite so all parking was gone. The manger allowed us to park in the centre of the hotel car park until things cleared which was appreciated.

Humidity from the wet room The extractor could be more powerful. But it did not detract at all from a great stay.

Good size room, great shower. Nice evening meal.

Preorder tick list for breakfast. Section for other information so I added that I would like 2 eggs with my bacon sausage & mushrooms. No tomato & no beans plus brown toast. I was asked if I just wanted eggs on toast: I said no & that I had marked what I wanted. They totally ignored my choices & gave me everything. I don’t like beans with breakfast as I don’t like everything covered in tomato sauce & I don’t eat tomatoes as they aggregate my arthritis. That was so disappointing as up until that point I thought it was an amazing place to stay.

This is a really great hotel. We booked four rooms. They were incredibly clean, newly renovated, and with very comfy beds. The cooked breakfasts were lovely too, and there was a great selection of cold buffet items along with fresh coffee, tea, and juices. The staff were all very friendly too. Excellent choice if you're visiting the area. (PS. If you're looking for a great pub in the town, find the Admiral's Arm - it's a micro pub with the most amazing selection of beers and ciders that's just down the road - opens from 5pm)

Absolutely nothing at all.

On arrival staff were very welcoming. I had arrived early (before noon) as I was attending a wedding on the island at 12.30 and the staff were happy to give me early access to my room. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had all the facilities I needed and even soya milk on the tea tray which I wasn’t even offered at a four star hotel I had recently stayed at! The water in the shower was really hot and plentiful and towels were thick and fluffy. I had a cooked breakfast the next morning - the poached egg was perfectly cooked. There were no negatives to my stay - I considered it very good value for money

There was nothing I disliked.

This property is well maintained, well run and provides service with a smile. We were a group of 8 cyclists booking 4 rooms. We were given access to somewhere to lock the bikes away. As we were due to leave very early we thought we might forgo breakfast but we were provided with grab bags of sandwiches, drink, snack bar and water as well as access to cereals and tea / coffee at 03:45 am. The night security guy couldn't have been more friendly or helpful which was a reflection of the whole experience from the friendly welcome onwards.

Both rooms. One a Large deluxe double in the main building. The other was one of the Garden rooms that contained a wet room rather than a regular bathroom. The staff - reception with its warm welcome. Restaurant/bar staff extremely friendly and helpful. Chef did an excellent job too. Housekeeping very friendly and also did an excellent job. The outside rear garden area which overlooks The Creek. Perfect place to eat or enjoy a drink especially in this warm weather.

Nothing.

The hotel makes a neat impression. The staff is friendly and the room was clean and tidy. So was the bathroom. The room was also very spacious and had a decent double bed that was good to sleep on. The breakfast was good and you could choose your individual breakfast, which was freshly prepared. All in all, a good hotel at a fair price.

There is not much to complain about this hotel. The only thing that bothered me was the car traffic directly in front of the house, which made sleeping with windows open a bit difficult.

breakfast was excellent, good choice, portion size very pleasing and served quickly by very friendly and obliging staff. breakfast area was always clean, tidy and at all times well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and this carried on to dinner which consisted of a good variety and always clean cooked and hot.

such a very small comment to make but a chest of drawers in our room would have been very useful instead of small cabinets.

Room was very big and comfortable. In the room there is an electric kettle with coffee, tea, milk and also some bottlede water. There was also a hairdrier and an iron. Bathroom was small but very functional with toiletres. What was really exceptional is a back garden for the B&B guest with tables located on the bank of the sea canal. You can sit there in the eveninh with some drinks or food. They also provide dinner, if you like. Breakfast was good with decent variaty of choices; English breakfast was also an option. In the vacinity there are some pubs and shops.

It is a bit off the way since it is located on the island, but it is worth to make a little bend on your journey.
