Location is about a 5 minute walk to the promenade and a five minute drive to Sheerness. Our room was motel style, so park outside with our own front door. (Not all rooms are motel style). The room was showing some signs of wear and tear, but nothing extreme or detrimental, clean and with a comfortable bed. The tea and coffee was topped up every day when the room was serviced, also biscuits every day. Our bathroom door did have a loud squeak but the bathroom was clean, bath with a shower, always piping hot water, toiletries supplied, huge bath towels and a heated rail to dry them on. A big bonus was we were expecting just a continental breakfast, but on going in on our first morning it turned out to be 'the works',full English to American pancakes. Bottomless coffee pots or pots of tea on request. Could be a bit of a wait if it was busy, but it didn't effect us we had no timetable, plus if we wanted quicker we should have got in earlier rather than be the 'stragglers'. We ate in the restaurant on a couple of evenings and found the food to be very reasonably priced and the 'Kentish Pie' was as good a steak pie as I have had anywhere. Our first evening we did have a long wait for our meal, but this did not go unrecognised by the staff who removed the price of my drink as an apology. The drinks prices are also reasonable, more than can be said for many hotels. The staff here really do need the biggest praise, every single one was extremely helpful, from reception to waitresses all terrific and Ajay is a truly 'Top Bloke' !!

No grumbles from me !

We booked this hotel as a base to go sea glass hunting at the Minster-on-sea beach. There aren't too many options to stay around here, and the location was perfect for our purposes, a short walk away from the beach. Was pleasantly surprised to find the rooms all on the ground floor, instead the usual multistoreyed business hotel. There was a lovely green courtyard at the centre that the French doors of the rooms opened onto, where the kids enjoyed running around.

The restaurant service was pretty slow. The rooms are slightly dated, with old-fashioned furniture, although everything is very clean and well maintained. The only downside was that the live music on a Saturday night carried quite clearly into the rooms at night, as the bar area was just on the other side of the courtyard from us.

Location was sublime. It's a 5-10 min ride with the car to the city or about a 40 min stroll. You can literally park your car right in front of the room. All the rooms are on the ground level which is ideal for people with reduced mobility. Towels and sheets were changed every day. When I booked the room it said on Booking that Breakfast wasn't included, which was fine for me. But when I checked in, the staff said it was included, which was a nice bonus.

Not really a major issue, but the towel rack in the bathroom is something to watch out for. It is really hot and nearly burned my arm when I bumped into it. Mattress of the bed isn't as good as other hotels, but it still gave me a good night sleep.

The hotel staff were amazing , they could not do enough for us. we had 2 babies with the group, they supplied cots and bedding, helped with heating up baby food, getting snacks during our meal for the babies. The location was excellent, the hotel was very quiet, the garden in the centre looked like something in Spain with the palm trees. we was able to get room service. it was a great experience. my only negative was the mattresses in a couple of the rooms you could feel the springs.

Two rooms out of the four the mattresses you could feel the springs.

I spend time with my wife celebrating our anniversary .The hotel is located in a nice place close to the beach, plenty of parking spaces for the cars or vans . The room was big and window facing enclosed garden on which I could walk out . We loved TV had access to the Netflix. We had access to cattle with tea ,coffee and biscuits , which was really nice. The bed was king's size with good comfortable mattress. I could park my car in front of the door of my room. We enjoyed breakfast , and hotel staff who served it were friendly to us which is very hard to find in these days and age .

No bottled water was provided in the room especially since the weather was really hot through the night . Walls are thin as we could hear neighbours TV working . The shower is a struggle to use as knob is hard to turn for water to start running and adjusting temperature was an even harder battle not suitable for service.

Sometimes simple places offer far better value than upmarket places. The family room was spacious for my kids to just manage about and we didn’t need to squeeze tight moving around. Staff was very friendly - we booked 2 rooms of 2 people as they didn’t have 1 room for 4 people at the time of booking. But staff looked into this when check in time and found one room, transferred us to that room and saved us some money. Granted it doesn’t have latest technologies, but I rather have decent spacious room and clean bathrooms than switches with usb ports. The breakfast was included and there were fairly good options. We went for full English and pancakes and it was all good. The location was close enough for us to go to our destination and drive back. No regrets ! Worth every Penny you pay for.

Slightly run down but not complaining

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was described as a budget room and that is exactly what is was. It is in need of refurbishment. However, the room was clean and had everything we would have expected in a much more expensive hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast which was included, was very good and was served quickly by the friendly staff who were very helpful and efficient. There was plenty of parking most of which was parking right out side your door as this is a motel style hotel. we paid £75 for the night, which represented outstanding value and we would highly recommend this for a short stay.

The only minor thing, was that the walls could be thicker, as we could hear people talking through the wall, but not enough to be off putting.

The breakfast was okay, albeit a little greasy and the sausages were very basic. We did get to breakfast at 8 am and went to the bar to order drinks where we had an Apple juice, orange juice, lemonade, blackcurrant and lemonade. We was not made aware that the juice would have been available in the breakfast area, so I was slightly disappointed that we were charged for it at the bar.

We found the shower facilities met expectations. However, it was very loud and we could hear Next Door so I only imagine they could hear us too.

The room was exceptionally clean, pretty basic but very comfortable. There was an iron, hairdryer and fan provided. The ensuite bathroom was spotless with a bath and shower, loads of hot water and towels were clean and soft. The breakfast was great and a good size, staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

The only niggle was the red hot towel rail in the bathroom which couldn't be turned down (or off) which made it really hot in there, particularly on the two hot August nights we stayed.
