I couldn't fault the Ibis in Stevenage. The location is perfect - a short walk from the railway station and situated in the town centre right next to a very large Tesco supermarket. Really easy to get to by road and rail. There was a really nice, polite and friendly lady on reception who checked me in. It was pretty late and she told me she was there until 11.00pm. I went up to my room and it was really clean, fresh and airy. Lovely light oak decor with a huge king-size bed, big walk in shower, big TV, tea and coffee making facility and large counter top for other stuff. The bathroom had a lovely large sensor mirror and the shower was massive with hand soap, hair shampoo and shower gel. The king size bed had two bedside tables eitherside with lights above and the TV was situated at the bottom of the red. There were also hangars for clothes in a wardrobe area, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a full size mirror - everything I needed. Exceptional!

I am quite impressed! The room was clean , spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was adequate , actually better than another nearby hotel that is more expensive. The staff were very friendly and responsive. Excellent location. Wifi worked well. Would definately stay again there.

A tip of advice maybe adding another bin in the toilet would have been useful or a slightly bigger bin in the room.

The hotel felt very budget. The lift in particular felt like it'd break at any moment. Also the fact that the A/C temperature cannot be controlled from the room and you have to go down to reception to get it change is incredibly frustrating, this also means there is a potential to be constantly talking with reception to get an optimum temperature.

Staff very nice but the cook Liz was absolutely fantastic exceptionally kind, kind and caring woman, she's a fantastic asset to this hotel. Front desk staff really nice n helpful when asked any questions. Cleaning staff done their job perfectly, I train cleaners so know what to look for, definitely no complaints for these ladies.

There was actually nothing to dislike about my stay in this hotel.

Very clean, central location. All staff were so helpful. Sadly I didn’t get her name but the lady on reception wearing glasses on my arrival and working the following day was so helpful and friendly. Towels larger than expected for a budget hotel and really liked the fact that the bedroom window could be opened as I prefer fresh air to air con.

Nothing comes to mind, my whole stay was better than I expected for the cost and the cheap parking at the car park next door was a nice bonus!

The receptionists were very professional and friendly - an asset to Ibis. The hotel is central, in town centre with a Tesco Extra next door and 8-10 mins walk to train stn.

The toilet right next to shower screen, can be dangerous esp if guest are drunk 🤣 No other concerns I defo will rtn if I rtn to Stevenage.

Morgan Berry who was on that night on shift was the most hospitable, helpful and informative we have ever met. What a lovely man and so accomodating with everything. He added to the stay making it even better.

Didn't have breakfast. We stayed here before catching the bus to Luton Airport for early morning flight. Ideally located within 10 minutes walking distance of the bus and train station. Basic room and only a thin mattress on the bed, but quiet and good value for the night.

A lovely welcome at reception after a traumatic rail journey. Room was good and very quiet.Breakfast was so good and staff so accomodating and friendly. My first experience of an Ibis and very impressed. I will be back.
