Very clean, lots of tea and coffee facilities, lovely owner very helpful and nice, great value for money, comfy bed, great kitchen facilities and best, hottest shower I've had in years! Owner was great with my dog, I was worried about mess as we'd been hiking but she was lovely! There's lovely parks and markets 5mins away. So great I ended up booking an extra night will definitely be returning!

Nice place in calm area - clean and fresh what is the most important. Well looked after hygienic and cleanliness. You can feel hosted like in the luxury hotel with the sweets on the pillows, fresh and cosy towels, set of cosmetics and jars with coffee, cocoa and tea. Mary (the owner) is very lovely, friendly, smily and helpful woman - pleasure to meet her x In this price it's just great for having clean and peaceful place to sleep. I would only suggest to stick some colorful pictures - like tattoo onest or canvas - to the walls (for example of flowers, nature or sea) - it will make the room very optimistic and positive :)

The building was easily accessible and parking was a lot easier than expected. I got parked on arrival and made it to my room within 10 minutes. Mary, was Very happy and made me feel comfortable one arrival Room was big. Clean, and had a great TV and all essentials. Netflix. Heater. Kettle. Large space. Cupboards. Adequate lighting. (In Room) Full kitchen. Where you basically cook anything you would like.

To be fair there was not much to not like.

Mary (the host) just couldn't do enough for me. I stayed 3 nights & her assistance was very welcome but never intrusive. As usual I forgot the odd home luxury, but she stepped in. Wonderful 😊

Nothing I didn't like? Due to a double booking slip-up, perhaps a little out of town(1 mile) but still walkable, with a great bus service.

I liked how friendly Mary was and how I could extend my stay as long as I want and check in anytime. I liked how Mary got me paracetamol and brought my food up to my room as well

Just the fact that it’s not contactless checkin and you do require to call in advance of checkin but that’s the only problem Of course it’s not a hotel but it’s amazing for its price room and everything else

I was greeted very warmly and shown around. The bed was super comfortable and all the bits like tea/coffee were provided. Having a full length mirror was a bonus. Access to a full kitchen came in handy and the place was warm!!

Having a shared bathroom, but I knew this at booking and to be fair it wasn't that much of an issue and for the price I cannot complain

Clean, comfortable, friendly owner. Nothing is too much trouble and this house was spotless. Over all a very good stay, Internet connection was great. Towels and toiletries well stocked. Even chocolate on the pillows on arrival. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mary.

Airy rooms, respectful guests. Peaceful location.

The room was very nice, enough space for two people to quickly head to for a night or two. Loved that there was working wifi and an amazon stick to watch movies during the night. Everything was clean and even had a little tray with a kettle, water, and jars of various powders in for making hot cholocate, coffee or tea. The staff was super polite and respectful, she even offered to drive me and my partner back to the trainstation which was extremely kind of her and I thank jer alot for that. If your stopping in thornaby id say book in there asap. Worth the price

Mary was very welcoming. The room was nice and clean and she showed us around soon as we entered so we knew where everything was. Very lovely lady and the people that was staying there was very nice aswell. We will be definitely staying again.

Location not nice or sharing bath toilet. But at end of day it's clearly states when books you have to and price justifys this.
