Chris is a superb host, stayed up late in order for me to access my room, helped me take in my bags and ensured I was comfortable be he left. I had travelled 250 miles from London to arrive 22:45 and access to reception and facilities are normally closed at 20:00 to those with out the keys. The room was comfortable, and I like unique boutique accommodation when I stay away from home. This was a perfect place to get my head down and the breakfast that was made to order in the morning was excellent. Fantastic value for money

The water in the shower while adequate some times ran warm and look warm. But I think this was due to a few people using their showers in their rooms at the same time. It really wasn't a problem and it is too strong to say 'what I didnt like" rather its a note and of little consequence of the pleasure to stay for an overnight stay

This is a lovely place. Bed was nice and comfy and the building is beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. They catered to my dietary requirements really well. Definitely recommend this place to others and will try and come back again. Overall, well worth the stay.

The only one very, very, very minor thing was the turn on to the driveway to the property from the main road is not very clear. The first time I missed it and had to turn the car around, but to be honest, it didn't take anything away from the wonderful stay.

The accommodation was modern but homely and you had the use of the gorgeous living room during the stay,a wine cooler was also available,,which proved very handy on a wet afternoon. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the hosts chris and Julie popped in for a chat and filled us in on where and what to do in the area. The rooms were lovely with en suites and gorgeous white crisp linnen on the beds,couldn't fault the place at all, Just gorgeous and look forward to staying here again in the future.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great, and the staff wonderful - they couldn't have been more helpful. There was a nice lounge to relax in, and weather permitting, space to sit outside too.

There was nothing that we really didn't like. There was not a lot of parking spaces available when we visited, but it was still good enough for what we needed.

Excellent friendly staff, wonderfully cooked breakfast from a good choice menu and portion sizes were outstanding! Lovely furnishings and design to the accommodation with fine finishings, lovely and warm. Roomy showers with never ending hot water. Comfy beds and quiet great nights sleep.

Nothing to dislike, if in the area wouldn`t hesitate to return.

Fabulous room. Lovely and warm on the cold July night!! Lovely lounge/dining room. Excellent breakfast including lots of fresh fruit. Really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

One tiny niggle was the WiFi was rather haphazard. It wouldn’t put us off coming back though!

Excellent B&B - lovely property inside and out. It was immaculate, comfortable bed with good room & facilities. Delicious, high quality breakfast - cereals, juices, yoghurt, abundance of fruit and cooked options. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff - nothing was too much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you.

Everything was really good. It was spotlessly clean. The owner and the staff were amazingly friendly. Breakfast without a doubt was delicious and plenty of it. The location was brilliant really quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

The Stables is a beautifully refurbished accommodation, combining rustic charm with excellent modern, clean facilities. Chris and his staff are friendly and attentive, and go that extra mile to satisfy guests' wishes - nothing seems to be too much trouble. Plenty of choice for breakfast, spacious parking and the location is peaceful.
