Excellent choice of breakfast. I had full English on our first morning and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon the following morning. There was an excellent choice of cereals to start with.....first class. The location for Stratford upon Avon and all it had to offer was a pleasant 15 minute walk. Our host Bill was very knowledgeable suppling us with the history of the area and giving us local maps which was very helpful. On our arrival Bill invited us into the dining room for tea or coffee and a wonderful slice of lemon cake. I nearly forgot to mention his home marmalade at breakfast. Our beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean with all you needed for a great stay.

We didn't stay for longer!

There was nothing that was too much trouble. The hosts noticed that I’d put three pillows together in the middle of the bed. When I came back they’d put an extra pillow on each side of the bed. Peter is an award winning marmalade maker. Wonderful home made jams and marmalades at breakfast. They are available for sale. Came home with three jars. Bill was very attentive from my arrival. Tea and home made cake were presented upon arrival, and we had some lovely friendly chats. The breakfasts were lovely. Beautifully cooked and presented. Attention to every detail is superb.

There was absolutely nothing which could have been bettered.

This is an absolute gem of a place! Bill was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The twin room was spacious and spotless with tea/coffee facilities. It was a short 10min walk from the cottage to the RSC so a perfect location for theatre lovers. The breakfast was top class - breakfast trifle was a big hit as was Bill's award-winning homemade jams and marmalades. Bill also went over and above in terms of customer service, bringing our bags to the train station for us so we didn't have to walk into town with them before we headed home. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Nothing - it absolutely exceeded all expecations.

Fantastic location for my needs; easily reachable from town and not far from Anne Hathaway's cottage (and due to a change in circumstances I was kindly picked up from the station). The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful - this really made a difference to my stay. I felt very welcome and looked after, and I learned a lot about Stratford too which added to my experience. The cottage is lovely and is quiet and cosy even though facing a main road - I had no disturbance whatsoever. Bed comfy, room well thought-out and bathroom large and airy. Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful with lots of homemade elements. I couldn't have asked for a better stay, and it was really nice to be hosted in such a thoughtful and personable way in a world which is increasingly impersonal. Lovely to see that some people really do their hosting job fully! Bravo, Moss Cottage!

Nothing at all.

We had a fantastic one night stay. Everything marks a perfect 10. We appreciate Bill's friendliness, generosity and hospitality. The best conversation we had with any host in our almost a month holiday in UK. We learnt so much about Stratford-Upon-Avon. His recommendation on places to park, see and eat, history of buildings - top notch. Breakfast was beautifully arranged on the plate and able to taste award winning jam and marmalade, yummy! He was at the door when we left, i felt it was such a beautiful gesture.

Maybe a slightly larger signage, as we drove pass it twice.

Lovely traditional cottage just out of the centre near Ann Hathaways cottage. Nice clean room with ensuite comfortable beds lovely breakfast, host Bill went out of his way to be helpful with information regarding transport helped with suitcases and to our breakfast requests, also got hot choc and biscuits, we had a lovely stay thank you Bill

The only thing being a personal preference was one big dining table shared with 2 couples we prefer our privacy.

Bill welcomed us into his home with tea and coffee. He gave us some information about the neighbourhood and suggested a nice walk into the city centre. He made us a delicious breakfast: the Greek style yoghurt trifle was to die for and one could see that Bill had gone to great lengths to serve an attractive plate with scrambled egg and smoked salmon, the presentation was truly beautiful.

Quite honestly there is nothing that I didn't like!

Superb. Very welcoming hosts and overall an exceptional experience. From the start of my booking to leaving the property I was made very welcome; nothing was too much trouble. Bill has a very obvious love of Stratford and the surroundings and a remarkable knowledge that allowed him to make excellent recommendations. Room was beautiful and looked brand new; enormous bathroom and shower. Cleaned to a brilliant standard. In addition, was able to offer an extraordinary level of flexibility to make my stay convenient for the timings of the wedding I was attending in the area. Breakfast was also delightful, and it was clear from the other guests there that my experience was the standard here. 10/10 across the board! Many thanks.

There was nothing that wasn't perfect.

Breakfast was really good. Filling. Fresh. Scrambled eggs and salmon were lovely. The rooms were cleaned daily. Bill the owner was friendly funny and really couldn’t do enough for you. It was like visiting a friend who you don’t want to leave. The rooms are really big and clean everything is there you could need. Excellent value for money. Thank you Bill

I misunderstood the menu for cooked breakfast. I think you have to circle such things as hash browns as extra, my bad and I know Bill would of been more than happy to sort this out if I would of ask. I was just so full 😁

I am so glad I booked this little gem of a B&B. I could not have asked for better. Spotlessly clean, a 15 minute walk into town. The host/owner Bill is the most nicest, helpful person. My double room was large and airy and comfortable. Breakfasts were fab. As a solo female traveller I felt at home, and safe. And off road parking too. Its been an absolute pleasure.
