Hotel was about a 10 min walk from the train station. It was conveniently located near South Beach. The rooms were clean and perfectly decorated with a little color and beach flair. Our room had a double and a twin. The mattresses were not bad, but not great. Both my mom and I slept ok. The host was lovely- super friendly and willing to pack us a to-go breakfast bag for our early train out. The fruit salad offered at breakfast was nice- lots of ripe berries. We did have to ask for more as the serving was quite modest.

Our room was on the 2nd floor, which I didn't expect. I should have requested a room on a lower floor for my mom. The stairs were a bit much after a long day of walking. We put the Do Not Disturb yet someone came in to straighten the room. It could have been a mistake, but felt a bit off. Despite having places for 3 people to sleep, there were only 2 lamps. Not a big issue, we just moved one lamp over to the single bed.

Recently stayed at the Hildebrand over October weekend of 13th/15th. Mark & Nicola are very welcoming and great hosts to us at their B&B as too is the breakfast waitress who helps out. Nothing was too much trouble and when I required some alternative breakfast arrangements which was very tasty by the way there were more than happy to help with no fuss which was very appreciated. The twin room we had was exactly as you see in the pictures and was roomy and clean with no issues at all during our stay. The B&B is 30 SECONDS walk away from the car park which cost £20 for 48 hours which I thought was acceptable and the Hildebrand is 5 minute walk away from the beaches and walled old town. Really enjoyed Tenby and our stay at the Hildebrand and will defiantly return

Good communications from Nicola and Mark before our visit to advise of check-in time, local parking facilities and to determine if we had any dietary requirements (we do, one vegetarian). They also emailed us while we were travelling to say the room was ready for us. We had Room 3 for 3 adults, which was great. Bigger than we expected with 2 double beds, 3 bedside cabinets, an adequate wardrobe for a 2-night stay (which even had a hot water bottle and fluffy blankets in !) kettle, plenty of coffees, milks and sugars and a decent sized bathroom. There's a lovely family feel to the house and the breakfast room was nicely set out with plenty of room between the tables. There was a continental selection (cereal, fresh fruit, fresh juices and yogurt (on one morning only)) followed by a cooked breakfast tailored to your taste with tea or coffee on tap. The car park was literally round the corner and easy to find and the location of the house was excellent - just a few minutes walk from the town walls. Nicola gave us lots of information on places to visit and was keen to hear how we'd enjoyed our time in Tenby. All in all, a really lovely stay and great value for money. Would recommend.

Having to leave after only 2 nights.

The owners of Hildebrand Guest house were really nice and welcoming. they were very helpful and friendly and had lots of knowledge of the local area to give us guidance for our first stay in Tenby. Tenby is such a beautiful place and Hildebrand is well located a short walk from the centre. The guest house is clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely with enough variety to cater for most tastes but I suspect if they havent got something you want, the owners would go out of their way to provide it. We would definitely stay there again and will be planning our next trip soon.

Mark and Nicola were very welcoming, checked that we had all that we needed and provided a great breakfast. The room was very clean and the facilities well thought out. We were upgraded to a family room which was spacious and had a couple of armchairs in the bay window- very nice! The location was excellent and parking options really good.

Would have liked a couple of towel rails in the bathroom though Nicola gave us a clothes airer to use for towels which was very thoughtful.

A Big Thanks to Nicola & Mark from the minute we arrived till we left Friendly and nothing was a problem excellent proprietors , perfect in every way down to our lovely Biscuits and Tea and coffee in our Room was clean and Bed was so comfortable, Breakfast was excellent catered to all our needs also was nice as other Guests chatted at Breakfast time Nicola and Mark would chat and were also ask your Days plans all up to date with any information to get to places , just made our Stay even more enjoyable .

Everything. Nothing was too much trouble for Nicola and Mark. The breakfast was amazing and everything was lovely and clean. The location of the B and B was perfect. A stones throw away from the sea front and a 10 minute walk into town , where there is a wide range of places to eat, all serving lovely food. We will definitely be visiting again.

Coming home.

Lovely traditional little guesthouse in an excellent location. Very near to seafront and with a reasonably priced car park just round the corner. Excellent communication from the owner prior to our stay, very welcoming on arrival and friendly throughout. Hot breakfast cooked to order which was very good. Bedrooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Dining area is also very pleasant and welcoming.

Don’t think there was really anything not to like. The room was a bit cold on arrival and also during the night - the additional blanket provided was a bit thin and perhaps more cosy, warm blankets or a thicker duvet (or the heating being turned up a bit) is needed during the winter months. My friend picked up an issue with hairs under the mattress topper which is why I marked down on cleanliness - it’s probably not something I’d have noticed in all honesty but she is a clean freak and thinks she’s on ‘Four in a Bed’ when she stays at a B&B so checks these things.

Excellent breakfast, well cooked and presented. Owners extremely accommodating. Quiet and peaceful, but 5 mins walk to beaches, car park and town centre. Large comfortable room which beckoned an afternoon snooze. Spotlessly clean and welcoming.

Mattresses could have been more comfortable. One suggestion could be pocket sprung with memory foam toppers. Understand that this could be done over time and not detrimental to the stay.

Very quaint abode. Ideally located to the beach and the town centre without being noisy. Nicola and Mark are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb. We would be more than happy to stay here again. Loved it!

It is unfair to to criticise anything when the hosts are very happy to deal with issues. You can’t impose “modern” expectations on beautiful old buildings. Eg the bathroom can be found to be small and awkward for some but that’s the way these buildings are.
