Loved the staff. Particularly the Polish couple in the restaurant and the Filipino gardener. Great location. Fabulous gardens. Breakfast was by and large good and plentiful, but some of the ingredients could have been better quality, particularly the sausages and jams. Public rooms were lovely. Views from the terrace onto the beach and harbour.
Our room was no. 310 and we were very close to the lift and it was very noisy going up and down. The quality of the furniture in the room was poor for the price we paid. No biscuits on the hospitality tray in the room which, again for the cost of the room we felt this was penny pinching.

First class breakfast service, served to you at the table, food was lovely, staff excellent. Location is fantastic, take a drink onto the terrace overlooking the sea, and enjoy the amazing views of the bay. Cleanliness is excellent, and the gardens are beautifully kept. As we were leaving before breakfast, reception arranged for two packed lunches for us to take with us on our journey, and very nice it was too. We can't thank the staff at the park hotel enough for a wonderful weeks stay. Thank you very much.

The hotel's location is one of the best in Tenby -- better still if you pay extra for view over North Beach to the town (and since the building itself is no beauty, the location has an additional plus in that you can't see the Park Hotel when you're there). It's also one of the v few hotels in town that have a garden (with gorgeous views over the sea and beach to the town from the garden and from a couple of strategically placed decks looking over the cliff) *and* a swimming pool (small but perfectly formed, and heated -- other things being equal, it's open to end of Sept). Our room was fine, recently redecorated and quite large enough. And (joy of joys) there was a twin socket with a couple of USB outlets for charging things. Every member of staff we met was exemplary, friendly and helpful without being obsequious
The weak coffee. It's ok if you like Nescafé, tough if you don't.

Stunning views over iconic Tenby harbour, set in lush gardens, with swimming pool, in a quiet residential area. Spotlessly clean. Varied breakfast included in the room price. On site free parking (on a first come first serve bases).
Drop in bedroom floor level leading to the en suite which is an accident waiting to happen. Poor pressure and performance in the over the bath shower. Maze of corridors and steps poorly lit. Tiny claustrophobic lift. 15 minutes walk to Tenby town centre, fine going downhill, not so fine walking back up, especially for the less able.

My wife and I were met with a warm welcome at reception when checking in. Our room (108) was very spacious), spotlessy clean and well appointed. A nice view from the window, we could see across the houses to the sea (and harbour). We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant for our first evening, It was good. Breakfast was excellent, great selection. Staff were very attentive. A large dining room, waiter/waitress service. The food was freshly prepared (no waiting in a buffet line for soggy eggs). The bar (located downstairs with direct access to the beautiful gardens) was cosy and a nice spot to relax. A really nice terrace located across from the hotel - fantastic viewsa cross to Tenby, Heated pool - but we didn't use it.
The bathroom was small, and could have been larger. Shower was located in the bath. Powerful and plenty of hot water. However, it was spotlessy clean. Toiletries provided too.

I love the location, fabulous view over the harbour. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel and a heated swimming pool at the back, very secure. Also, there a few sitting areas outside hotel to enjoy the harbour view. Staff is friendly. We had an evening meal which was reasonably priced and quite good. The dining room is posh, with chandeliers and a huge mirror in the middle. There's also a nice bar and a separate sitting room, very cosy. There's Edwardian feel to the hotel, so lovely. Very happy with our stay.

Located a pleasant five minute downhill walk from Tenby North Beach and the nearby shopping area, the hotel commands a fine view of the town and the beach. On arrival, there is a small car park on the hotel frontage, with slots for approx. 10 vehicles, with another car park at a lower level, which has provision for charging electric vehicles. The hotel is situated in its own extremely well maintained grounds which includes well manicured and mature gardens, an outside pool, and a sheltered decked area which provides a lovely spot to enjoy an after dinner drink available from the adjacent bar area, and enjoy a hopefully spectacular sunset, plus, there is also access to a more secluded area with seating away from the main gardens and close to another beach access, although warning signs indicate that this very steep pathway needs to be treated with caution. Access to the upper floors is via stairs or a small lift adjacent to the reception area. Although the data plate states that the limit is five occupants in the lift, it's still extremely cosy with two lightweights. The view from our third floor room was pleasant, with a view of the impressive neighbouring houses and the sea, although little time was spent looking out of the window. Breakfast needs to be pre-booked for preference of an early or later sitting, 08.00 - 09.15, and 09.30 - 10.15, and breakfast is far from disappointing. A seating plan at the entrance to the dining room specifies your table, and once seated, individual table service is provided by an extremely efficient team who will cater for your breakfast requirements from a well presented and comprehensive menu. Evening meal is available, although we didn't take this. Overall, the hotel is extremely well presented, spotlessly clean, well maintained, and definitely worthy of future visits.
Just the one potential issue. In the room in which we stayed, there was no window guard/lock on the window, which means that an unsupervised child could open the window and put themselves at risk of falling three floors to the ground. Although it could be argued that the room in which we were staying is not a family room, if the child was visiting a relative who was a member of a family booking, and that relative had gone to the bathroom leaving the child unsupervised, then a potential issue exists.

We paid extra for a bay view room and the view was spectacular, we had a great view straight across Tenby, its harbour and beyond. Staff were very friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Room was very light and the bed very comfortable. The grounds are kept looking immaculate and it has a heated swimming pool & garden terrace looking straight across the bay & Tenby. Food was served hot and cooked to order. We had both breakfast and evening meals and except for the breakfast sausage and jams was spot on.
Not dislikes as such but little opportunities for improvement. For the price I would have liked to have seen Hot Chocolate as a choice on the room tea tray. At breakfast, please for the full English breakfast, change the sausage to a local one that has flavour, not a commercial brand, wasn't very tasty. Also sadly I think the Jam/marmalade selection lets you down, doesn't look particularly inviting and the orange marmalade I tried was bland and tasteless - come on Park hotel - you're better than that :-)

The room was clean and comfortable with lovely view of the pool and beautifully kept gardens. The breakfast was served by pleasant staff. There was ample choice and the food was hot and plentiful. The teapot also came with 2 teabags, making a delicious brew. In most places I find I have to take a teabag with me to top up the pot. It may seem a small thing but some things are important. The swimming pool was warm, even though our early summer weather wasn’t. I really must give praise to the gardener, what a great job he has done. The hotel was conveniently placed along the coastal path route and we walked to Saundersfoot, extremely taxing for us septuagenarians, but we made it.
Nothing.
