This place was absolutely exceptional. When we booked, we didn't think much of the place and price; we just wanted a bed for the weekend. Oh my god, this place was wonderful! The room was lovely, the four poster bed was beautiful and the view was to die for! An ocean view we could look at right from our bed. What more could you want! The beach is the other side of the road! The food was beautiful, the staff were beyond friendly: we honestly couldn't fault the hotel. We fully plan to book here again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed like family. Graham was friendly and warming. Explained everything we needed to know about the hotel and facilities. When we got to our room, it was clean and very cosy. Unfortunately there was an issue with our room that could not be rectified immediately. We were relocated to another room which was bigger in size and had the most amazing view. We were told initially that we could only have the room for one night but Graham would see what he could do and let us know. We honestly thought that we would be going home the next day. To our surprise, Graham came back to us and said that we had the room for the remainder of the stay. Thanks to another couple / family who agreed to move to another date. The room we had (family room no.27) was stunning. Extremely spacious and clean. We had a balcony which looked out onto South Beach and a very nice sized bathroom with bath (always a plus for us). The breakfast in the morning was beautifully cooked and the staff very warming and friendly. I can honestly say this hotel is one of the best that we have stayed in within Tenby and I'm sure it will remain to become a regular stay in the future. Thanks to Graham and the team for making our stay very relaxed and stress free.

The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choices. A very good choice of fruits, yoghurts, full English breakfast, continental and the fresh coffee was very tasty. All in all every request was catered for. Also this hotel is exceedingly dog friendly which is very reassuring. The decor is stunning throughout the hotel.

There is really nothing here to be disappointed with apart from leaving this beautiful hotel to go home! Tenby is a beautiful seaside resort with great eating places and lots of them are dog friendly too. There are some really quaint gift, craft and retail shops here too.

Overlooking the beach, yet still within 300 meters of the town centre. Awesome location. Breakfast is fantastic. Loads of choice and cooked to perfection 🥰 Room was on top floor; for the price it was great. No lift, so if you're not up for climbing 4 sets of stairs, dont be cheapskates like us - book one of the more expensive rooms on a lower floor. Hotel allows dogs; a real plus for us, and the visitors at the window made us laugh too!

Took a few rings of the bell at reception before we got a response when we arrived. Felt like we were a surprise visit rather than a 5 month prior booking. Overall, the hotel looks a bit tired. But, hey, they've just survived a pandemic that likely wiped out money to invest, so we're happy to give them a break on that!

On the seafront, and only a couple of minutes walk into town. Fantastic breakfast options and super friendly owner and staff.

There were only two minor issues, which didn’t really spoil our long weekend. The windows are old single glazed wooden framed windows, and the window in the en-suite couldn’t be closed as the frame was warped, and noise from the gulls did wake us up quite early in the mornings. Also the shampoo and body wash dispenser needs to be replaced, to try and get anything out of them, you need to be a bit of a contortionist, holding the bottom of the bottles, and trying to pump the top up and down.

I was given a single room at the top of the hotel, looking out over Tenby Seafront. Room was comfortable and quiet, had a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was included and served from 8 am to 9.30 am, partly help yourself, although they took your order at the table for the cooked breakfast, which was great. Location is fantastic, looking out over the South Beach and Tenby Town centre is only a 5 minute walk. Would recommend.

Not really a negative but bear in mind is there is no parking at hotel. I parked at the South Beach Car park, which in fairness is not that far away. I think I paid £12 for 24 hours. Also if you are staying on the top floor there is no lift with plenty of stairs to contend with. Worth considering if you have mobility issues?

What a find this place was! As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Graham and knew we'd picked the right place to stay. Our whippets were very pleased with their free treats too! After showing us to our room(which has recently been updated and has a beautiful en-suite) we were left to it. The location is perfect, set right on the sea front and within 5 minutes of all the bars, restaurants and harbour. The room was comfortable and modern and we both slept really well. The breakfast was fantastic and the ladies who served us both mornings were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our first visit to Tenby and we have already booked for next year at No.1 Esplanade! Thanks again to Graham and team!

We travelled with the dog so they kindly put us in a larger room so we had lots of space for the dog to roam, including a balcony. The room was great, lovely beds and really clean, lots of complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits and really cool despite the weather being warm. Location was fantastic, literally in the town centre. Parking isn't included with the stay but we found a space behind the hotel really easy. £12 for 24 hours and contactless payment which was easy to use. My husband did the Carten100 bike ride, has a really expensive bike and the proprietor ensured it was securely stored for the duration of our stay.

We liked everything about the property, and would definitely stay again.

Room(No. 27) was exceptionally big, with a defined sitting area- a comfortable couch in front of the TV. Room was spotlessly clean. The Kingsize bed was extremely comfortable. As has been mentioned the breakfast was excellent- food was hot, with quality ingredients. A good choice of cereals and fresh fruit was also available. Location to the town was good- never being more than five minutes away from the many shops, bars and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate in returning at some point.

The only downside to the room was that the shower could have been more powerful. Wi-fi was hit and miss at times, and occasionally affected the TV signal.

The room was beautiful and the view was amazing. We stayed in the family room and it was huge! The restaurants and town were just out the front door. The TV in the room was a great size, the bed was super comfy, and did I mention the view? WOW. Graham is a great character and very helpful. The staff appear to start with breakfast waitressing and then move onto cleaning the rooms, and are really happy and friendly.

I'm struggling to think of things I didn't like. The breakfast on our first morning was perhaps a bit on the greasy side? only just though. Oh, and maybe the third floor is a bit of a hike if you're not fit (like us). But other than that I can't think of anything bad to say!
