the accommodation is set in stunning surroundings and a short walk from the beach. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent and great value for money. Breakfast was also exceptional with a wide range of choices. The rooms were comfortable and included a fridge which was a nice touch. The service from all staff was outstanding. After checking out, my brother unfortunately took a tumble and grazed both his knees, the staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful looking after him. Thank you.

nothing, we would definitely stay here again.

The location and staff were lovely. We took 2 dogs and they were very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and warm with plenty of teas and coffees etc. The shower was very good. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The room was a little tired, needs a freshen up. Issues were very minor and not dog related. Things like wallpaper needs tidying, minor paint touch ups and silicone renewal etc. Really not a problem just let the room down a bit. The mattress was a bit noisy. I slept fine but my wife was not so comfortable.

The atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant was relaxed, friendly and unpretentious, but the quality of the restaurant food was impressive, as was the copious cooked breakfast. The setting, with views over a medieval castle and a charming, unspoiled beach., was exceptional. The hotel was conveniently situated between the local hub of Tenby and the well-known National Trust coastline at Stackpole.

The fittings in the 'Coach House' room across the courtyard were a bit basic, but perfectly adequate and compensated by the sea view down the valley.

Everything was excellent, staff, food, setting, room. A lovely garden with 2 friendly dogs roaming and a cat. Great to have a fridge/freezer box in the room where we could keep our beach supplies cold. Proximity to the beach was excellent and the local pub too!

Nothing to fault really but there could have been shelving in the bathroom, bar prices a bit high and could have made more regarding the garden furniture. Otherwise in the main our stay couldn't have been better.

Idyllic location and setting. The bay was visible from some rooms, and the castle was almost opposite. There was a lovely lawn at the back. The food was good quality and nicely cooked. The staff at mealtimes were excellent: attentive without being intrusive. The decor of the house was quirky and cosy.

Maybe get the building painted outside in a more inviting colour (it's present dull blue is a bit depressing). And a safety warning notice in the pond on the back lawn would have been more reassuring.

Breakfast/ dinner was fantastic; they even remade my grandson's eggs and deconstructed his pasta dish specifically for him. Our family room more than exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious and there was a fridge also.

There wasn't anything that I did not like with the exception of the car park which was small and so you would struggle for parking. Also on my return home it became apparent that my car had been hit slightly. (My car is quite cumbersome)

Beautiful building and location, just 3 minutes away from the castle and beach. Excellent fulsome breakfast. Parking available.

The restaurant & bar are closed on Sundays and Mondays (even on bank holiday weekends) - a shame this wasn’t made more explicit on the property description as we’d been looking forward to a pint in the beautiful garden. Booking a table at the pub in the village is therefore advised - we were caught out on our first night.

Breakfast. Fresh fruit (especially berries) and yoghurt. A variety of cooked courses, including kippers and smoked salmon, were also available. Coffee, served in a cafetiere, was also of a high quality (though a bit stewed on one day only). Dinner was very good indeed. Restaurant meals often start well and end well, but disappoint with their middle courses. Here, some of the main courses were exceptional. We particularly liked the Lamb Tagine. And, as a starter, the Prawns Tempura. The room, though adequate, was a little cramped (I understand there are better rooms, both better appointed and more spacious; our problem was that we booked late.) A stand-out feature was the garden-view and the sea beyond. This was readily accessible from the restaurant salon, giving the evening meal a charming ambience. Another plus point: the staff like dogs. We'll be bringing ours next time. Surroundings: Manorbier Castle and St Peter's Church are in easy walking distance of the hotel and worth a visit.

The decor, though charming and period, is a little tired.

Beautiful location overlooking local 12th century church on hill. Very quiet and peaceful with lovely quaint breakfast /restaurant room overlooking garden and sea through the trees. 5 minutes walk to Manorbier Castle and beach. Easily accessible with short boardwalk to beach. Small village with lovely local pub. A step back in time all round so great if you want a peaceful get away. Family run place with charm.... I will definitely return if I can.

The location of the hotel is excellent a 5 minute walk downhill to the beach. It is a good base to explore the local beauty spots. Quiet and peaceful in it's own grounds. Across road from the Castle where there is a cafe - I believe you can use the cafe even if you don't pay to go into the Castle. There is also a pub and cafe in the village. The Pub menu was varied (not cheap) but we had decided to eat at the hotel. All the staff were really friendly, we took a dog with us, they are very dog friendly. We ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner which was great. Hot food made to order and a selection of cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc. They have a limited evening menu but a good selection and I prefer this as you know that things are going to be cooked fresh. We had steak first night and it was good. Reasonably priced for the quality. Great desserts too. I noticed that the same menu is for the duration of the month. We were seated by the patio doors which was great for us with the dog. That table was allocated to our room. The view out over the garden is lovely and you can also see the sea. The room was nicely decorated not large but adequate. If you were taking more than one dog it may be a little cramped we had room 3. It overlooked the car park. Lovely toiletries included also plenty of tea coffee and very nice hot chocolate. Also a small fridge. There is a small lounge too, some seating overlooking the sea. There is a nice flat garden at the rear laid to lawn with chairs and tables if you wanted to relax outside with a nice glass of wine. It was good to be able to let the dog have a run around. Again a view towards the sea and also of the lovely church across the valley. We live not far from the coast so a sea view was not essential but may be nice if you are from somewhere landlocked.

Very very minor thing. The car park is quite narrow so if you have a long car you need to be able to manouvre well. Plenty of spaces for the size of hotel.
