Amazing location. Views. Décor. Artwork. A special experience. Downstairs dining, bar, cafe, bathrooms tasteful, clean and delightful. Awoke to a cock crowing and the surf pounding. Good as it gets.

Tiny bathroom, creaky floors. Room soundproofing. We like it cool, but when we opened the window it seemed like all the warm air in the hotel was rushing out through our room via a very leaky door. At the hotel entrance a tacky lifestyles of the rich and famous vibe with pictures of Trump and celebrities. Ugh!

The room had a superb view of The Bridge connecting King Arthur's Castle, coastline and sea views. The location was exactly what we came to visit having been visiting Tintagel on numerous occasions. The hotel was impressive; the staff were courteous and the whole atmosphere was inviting.

The room and bathroom were a little too small, but very clean. The restaurant service was excellent, but the food overall was not value for money. We had booked a three night stay, but only had one breakfast and evening meal, whereas we were prepared to have breakfast and evening meals from the outset in the hotel.

exceptional location, large room with ocean view, free parking, nice pictures on the walls of the staircase.

A plastic bathroom added in the room, look like an improvisation, with an extremely small shower, not usable. Exposed heating piping and exposed electrical installation. Not a good feeling. Everything (walls, windows, doors, furniture) is very old with no maintenance, need an urgent restauration.

The hotel is in a spectacular position with stunning views all round. There is a pleasant bar and separate dining room both with excellent service.

There were very many dogs staying. I like dogs but people who do not like or who have an aversion to dogs should consider the possibility of enquiring with the hotel before booking.

The views were stunning, the staff were excellent.

The hotel seem very run down, the bathrooms were very small like they were out of a caravan but smaller. There is artwork all around the hotel from just one artist and it gets a bit boring having to look at it all the time. While having dinner we were approach by the artist who also said he was one of the owners and if we were interested in his art we could tell reception and they would arrange a viewing of the gallery. All we wanted was to have to a meal in piece. If you are paying top dollar you would expect to have quality.

Staff were so friendly from the second we walked in until we left. Staff were helpful, welcoming, and hardworking. The room was immaculate, the bar was clean with some lovely staff to serve, and there was a lovely atmosphere. The staff in the restaurant were helpful and attentive but not invasive. The food was delicious, we had our evening meal and breakfast ...both were very tasty, fresh and cooked perfectly and all service with a smile. We had a room with a balcony, and a view out to sea. It was perfect. And so chilling. The decor was stunning throughout. And very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend. We stayed for one night before moving on to our caravan holiday. Would happily stay again and for longer. The complimentary toiletries smell great aswell. We stayed on Sunday 23rd March 2025 and used the bar area before changing clothes and freshening up for a meal. And after 4 hours 30 minutes driving it was a perfect place to relax and have a drink. The pork scratchings are amazing too haha! The grounds are beautiful and the views are beautiful.

Wouldn't change a thing

Location & grandeur, absolutely fantastic place. The communal areas were just stunning. Open fires, one being lit when I was there. Great place to stay to enjoy Tintagel & costal walks or just soak up those views! Can’t comment on food but restaurant looked lovely. Would stay again!

Like others the strange bathroom pod, was very tight for space in the shower & shower curtain kept sticking to my wet skin, I’m guessing I wasn’t in a room which had been refurbed, I think the refurbed hv white doors! Bed was a bit hard for my taste. Was very windy overnight & made the room cool & noisy but you get this with the location being so exposed.

Location and views amazing.

The bathroom/shower was too cramped and shower curtain not sufficient so water all over floor.

The location was ideal for us to explore the coastline and surrounding seaside villages. The views were spectacular, the fireplaces and the original decor were nice. The old fashioned toilet decor was fabulous and the dining room was impressive.

Perhaps a little too much of the owners personal taste although others may like this. The shower en suite was a bit strange. Similar to what you find in a caravan. It did the job but for the price paid was not really acceptable. Some areas around our room were very dark at night with little lighting. I think some areas were under restoration.

My wife and I visited the Camelot Castle Hotel for one night on our whirlwind UK/Ireland trip. It was the first accommodation I chose from all localities because I thought, 'Wow! I want to stay in a castle.' The advertisement made the place look stunning. After anticipating this stopover for eight months, we were not disappointed. The place is absolutely stunning; it appears just as it does in their advertisement. I loved sitting in the bar area, in front of a real fire (so good) and the old style lift. The staff were amazing; the service is very professional, and all with a friendly smile. The idea of staying in a themed hotel like this may seem slightly corny, but I highly recommend it; book a stay here and you will feel special.

There's nothing to complain about
