Kettle, tea, coffee, always good to have. Shower was very nice. Breakfast was very good (partner VERY happy to have fried bread on the menu choices). Staff always so attentive. Helped us up to our room initially, because I couldn't carry much due to a broken arm. We had the £15 evening 3 course meal. Very impressed with the salad for starters. Main meal was lovely. Pudding we asked if we could take ours to our room for a bit later - which we did, and was also lovely. The situation right on the cliff front was good. So easy to go out for a stroll.

A little bit stuffy in the room, despite windows being opened to the max at all times. Pillows a bit thin, so extra pillows would have been a bonus. The individual bed light were too bright if one person wanted to just read and the other sleep. A more directional reading light would have been useful. Lack of parking, but explained beforehand. And adequate parking on nearby street.

Buffet breakfast, hot and cold was good. Well stocked. Staff were all very professional and friendly. Bus stop into Torquay right outside the hotel. Buses every 30 minutes and bang on time too. Room was big and spacious and decor very tasteful. Comfy beds and quiet. Only ate there on one of three nights but the food was good - £15 for three courses and all buffet style. Pre booked parking was worth it - £10 per night - as we used our bus passes to get around. The views from the front of the hotel and our bedroom were absolutley stunning. A beautiful location. Within easy walking distance of lots of other eating establishments.

Slight issue with the window in our room meant that we had a draught coming in 24/7. That said we didn't report it at the time as were were too busy and were happy with everything else in the room. We did report it upon departure though so hopefully they have an opportunity to fix it now.

Both rooms we booked were very clean and very comfortable, the hotel is beautifully situated, with stunning views.. The staff there were top drawer, explaining everything and doing their best to help. The breakfast was excellent, the restaurant manager was so welcoming to everyone, and was working hard in line with everyone else. We will be returning to this hotel for sure.

I would suggest the only slight inconvenience was that my mother's room was situated above the entertainment venue, which went on till late. We weren't given the choice to move, despite booking in early..

The breakfast was great but the evening meal was well below what I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel facilities were great.

The evening meal. I understand that cooking for such a large number of guests is not easy but the food could have been better. Also the floors were very creaky.

Excellent, friendly and polite staff who were very helpful and dealt with queries promptly and proactively. The location and view is amazing!

TV reception was a bit temperamental. The shower was difficult to work out in trying to get hot water. A tissue box in the room would be handy. The light over one bed didn't work. This was replaced quickly, but by using one of the lights over the other bed.

we ate dinner and breakfast excellent food buffet syle. only critisim i would of preferred coddled / poached eggs but no one around to ask, no matter i enjoyed it, some of the items needed topping up quicker than they were doing it a few things were used up.. overal busy hotel lots of people, excellent from me My room was clean and adequate for one night. I'd guess that end of the season the rooms looked tired but no matter it is what i would of expected.

parking for disabled. I apprecite that you could book parking places but not handy for a disable customer if they have to park down the road,,, but it is what it is...

Having not visited my home town of Torbay for 30 Years, it was important to find a representable Hotel that was easy to reconnect with the beauty of Torbay and stay within easy reach of local facilities. The Staff at the Hotel were very welcoming, (recognised my booking straight away) the room was very comfortable and they arranged parking in front of the Hotel for me with no problem at all. We needed an Invoice after I had left the Hotel and this was also sorted out quickly without any issues.

The Weather.

The location is excellent, the staff are so courteous and helpful, the hotel was so clean. The rooms were immaculate after being cleaned each day. Facilities are good, the breakfast is perfect, excellent value for money all round.. Will be back soon.

I can't really find much in the way of faults for the hotel, minor thing was getting into the rooms and onto the balcony was a bit awkward for my elderly mother...her door key was bent, and the key to unlock the balcony a bit fiddly.. very minor issues on an otherwise wonderful visit..
