We could not fault a thing at this b&b, Raj and Manju are fantastic hosts. Greeted by our first names on arrival, they are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We didn’t book breakfast originally, but although they normally do a pre-order system, Manju and Raj accommodated us last minute when we changed our mind to have breakfast in the morning. We booked again for breakfast for our remaining 2 nights - it surpassed expectations. We were in Torquay for my birthday, and we returned from our first morning out to a card and bottle of wine as a birthday gift from Raj & Manju, which just sums up the hospitality here. The property is clean, in a great location and is amazing value for money. We will definitely be staying again when we are back in Torquay. Thank you both for a fantastic stay! Xx

Finding a good B&B in a sea of B&Bs is hard work, but we were over the moon with the Ravenswood. The location was great, being a very short walk down the hill to the harbour and town centre, with great restaurants minutes away. You couldn't ask for a better location for being close without all the central noise. Our room was immaculate - and I'm a clean freak, so that's saying something - with everything well thought out to make the most of the size. The bed was super comfortable ( despite the sleeptalking, kicking child), and tea and coffee were refilled daily, which was nice. The owners were just the nicest people, and you can see the love and commitment they put into their business. Before they even met us, they offered to collect us from the station, which I took them up on for the return trip, and we were delivered right to our platform... talk about going the extra mile! I can see why people rebook year after year 💕

Nothing!

Beautifully clean. We had a king size room, which was fabulous, spacious and very well furnished but the bed was much larger than a King, it was huge and sooo comfy. The love that Raj and Manju have for their property comes across in its cleanliness and beautiful decorated rooms. Plenty of tea and coffee in room and fresh milk was available from the fridge on the 2nd floor. We chose not to have breakfast as we like to take our time getting up on holiday (if breakfast tasted anything like it smelt I'm sure it would have been lovely). Raj and Manju are the perfect hosts, always so happy. Our car was a bit big for the parking spaces at the rear so they gave us a parking permit that we could use in the Harbour car park less than 2 mins drive away, after dropping our bags off. We left on Easter Sunday, having been wished a Happy Easter and given 2 creme eggs. Thank you both so much for everything, we would certainly come back here again.

There was nothing to dislike

The accommodation was perfect in every way. Manju and Raj are lovely hosts, so kind and helpful way beyond the call of duty. The rooms are bright, cosy and super clean. The whole house smells wonderful. The breakfast was also excellent. If we are lucky enough to be able to come back to Torquay, we already know where we will stay again.

There‘s really nothing to complain about.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Torquay and will definitely be back again with my partner Breakfast The breakfast was absolutely amazing fresh is an understatement, Raj and Mani presented there version of the musli and yogurt every morning a real energy boost followed by a beautiful well presented cooked breakfast followed by Tea, Coffee and Fresh Juice

Everything was perfect for my short stay

We had a lovely stay at the Ravenswood. Our room (4) was really comfortable and had everything we needed. There was plenty of storage space and a lovely seating area. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Nothing, although I’m not a fan of pre-ordering breakfast, but completely understand why it’s easier for B&Bs to ask their guests to do it.

From the moment we arrived our hosts Raj & Manju made us feel special and nothing was too much for them, the breakfast was lovely and plentiful, with a large selection available, the whole B&B was clean & hygienic through out, the carpet was lovely thick and soft. The view from the window of our room was beautiful, looking over the gardens the other side of the road. If we come back to Torquay we would not consider staying anywhere else other than The Ravenswood B&B.

There was nothing to dislike about The Ravenswood B&B or the hosts, everything was excellent. If I had to say something it would be the walk up the hill to the B&B but however it was not terribly long and the road continued steeper after the B&B. The location of the B&B on the road means its got the views .....the sweet spot. If you were down the road closer to the harbour then the beautiful views would be lost so it was actually a perfect setting.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights in August as a last minute get away. The price was extremely reasonable and the rooms had everything you needed. It’s in a great location, within walking distance of everything. The breakfast was lovely and you could request what you wanted the night before it was great as we didn’t have to think about it. It was served between 8-9 and you had to request a time (I think). There was parking around the back which was good for our little car, however I think a big car would struggle. But they did say they had permits for a car park up the road. There was front and back outdoor seating, as well as a pub behind the building. If you want to visit Torquay I would definatly recommend. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would stay again. Thank you Ravenswood!

Everything was great.

Location is brilliant , great price, amazing host and hostess made us feel very welcome and comfortable , been twice now and both stays have been wonderful, they got a bday present , cake and card for my girlfriend which was very lovely. Definitely recommend this place , amazing place to stay
