The Owner and his Wife were very friendly and helpful. They provided fresh milk for Tea and coffee which was in the room along with bottled water. The room was big, comfortable, the bedding and towels were fresh and clean. We booked the breakfasts once we arrived, the breakfast was amazing!! they must have a professional cook in the kitchen as it was a 5* breakfast! We will be back!

I thought the walk to the beach was a little far to be honest and glad I was driving.

Greeted by Fonz at check-in and she was super friendly and helpful in every way. She had many great recommendations on things to do. Amenities and free beverage choices in the room were good. Heating was provided on request, as the night was cold. Opted for the full breakfast which was very good. Well presented with care. Had a lovely stay.

Though it is in a nice neighbourhood and somewhat near the train station, be prepared for a bit of a walk to the town centre. However there is a bus stop on the main road (5-10mins away).

Our hosts, Fons and Chai, were a lovely couple, so friendly and always wanting to make sure we were happy with everything. The room was large with a very comfortable bed that was large enough for four adults - amazing. The ensuite was everything you would want and very, very clean as was everything in our room, and the hotel altogether. Bottled water was left in the room every day, and there was coffee and tea making facilities, plus a large flat-screen tv on the wall. The breakfast was excellent, we were asked for our preferences on arrival(although we could change these daily if we wanted), and we were asked if we had any allergies etc. which were noted. The breakfasts were excellent both in quality and amount, and Fons was continually enquiring as to whether everything was as we wanted. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending The Bahamas to anyone, and we would definitely go again without hesitation. Absolutely wonderful, and that says a lot when you consider that I have been medically diagnosed as a "obsessive perfectionist".

There was absolutely nothing not to like.

The owners were very welcoming, As a solo visitor I was greeted very warmly, and advised what there was to do and hot spots to see. The location was only a 15 to 20 min walk from the centre , you can cut through the Abbey which is quite a nice walk. The room was quite small but it had everything needed for my stay. The bed was comfy, the shower was more than adequate, and as a bonus there was a fridge in the room which was filled daily with bottles of water and fresh milk. Breakfast was cooked to perfection just how I liked it, and another guest requested the fruit which was excellently presented as a palm beach sunset. Very impressive. Another guest had a bad cough and diddnt sleep very well, so they made him a hot honey and ginger drink.. the next morning he stated he had slept quite well due to the honey and ginger drink given. Very good hosts.

There was nothing really to dislike about the place

The Bahamas was in a great location , able to walk to the beach, get all the buses from a stop nearby. Breakfast was good, I’m not really a breakfast person, I only had it one day. Beds were very comfortable, the shower was lovely & hot, small little touches like complimentary shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, even a shower cap if needed. There was a hairdryer in the room & an iron & board located in the hallway. You couldn’t really ask for more. Fonz was a great host , always asking if u needed anything . A thoroughly great stay & I would stay again.

There wasn’t anything i didn’t like

First class breakfast (only £9), cooked to order, so no rubber fried eggs and stiff bacon that have been waiting for you for an hour under a heat lamp, first class service (absolutely nothing was too much trouble, the best service I have ever experienced), the cleanest place I think I have ever stayed at, free car parking and outrageously value for money and beyond. If you are looking for a place to sleep, eat breakfast and then get out and enjoy your day this is the place.

I am struggling to think of anything that could have been better. I have paid a lot more for places with worse rooms.

The foundation of a trip away is often what your accommodation is like and the Bahamas is an excellent place to stay . Approx ten mins walk from the seafront .The hosts could not do more to make us feel welcome . My request for fruit for breakfast was presented like a work of art in the shape of a palm tree and sunshine, all food served was plentiful and delicious .

Nothing not to like

Place is absolutely spotless, cleanest b&b I've ever stayed in. Rooms are well modernised. Great location only 5 mins walk to the beach. The hosts were the friendliest and most helpful ppl u could wish for. Although there was 1 huge problem I had with the place, I had to leave and go back home to work 😅

The fact I didn't book a longer stay.

The hosts were very kind and we have become friends, My room was well-furnished, I had everything I needed, extra room service was available, if needed, There were facilities I could have used, if I'd have had an electric car. They get extra exposure via Corentin Colangelo L.I.O.N. on LinkedIn.

The fact that the holiday ended.

Very friendly and helpful owners, could not do enough for us to make our stay any better! Will definitely book and encourage others to book here as well

Quite a lot of creaking floor boards noise from the room above! May need to have a look at? But we always carry earplugs with us so sleeping wasn't a problem. And the shower wasn't very warm!
