Mount Edgcombe

The breakfast was delicious, so much choice, cooked well and nicely presented. The rooms are very nice, also the dining room and even a nice bar area. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The host and hostess were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate a specific request, they couldn't have been more helpful.

They only fault was the 'fridge in our room was noisy during the night. It wasn't noticeable during the day but we didn't complain about it

Yvonne & Jamie were so welcoming on arrival. The room was lovely and sunny, it was at the front facing the road, to be honest we heard little noise. The breakfast excellent, gluten-free options available, a wide range of choices, the eggs were amazing, I have never seen yolks that colour before! The location was great, just a short walk to the sea front and bars restaurants within walking. Can’t forget to mention Poppy who was adorable. My friend and I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in the area. It has a very warm and homely feeling. Thank you

Our suite was fully equipped. Hosts were fab. Breakfast was highest quality.

We were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and card as it was our first week on honeymoon. We were made very welcome and our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Our suite was absolutely fab and there was a very extensive menu for breakfast. It's well located for a short walk to the beach etc. Can't recommend highly enough... exceptional B@B

A lovely B&B, Yvonne and Jamie were so helpful, they had thought of every little detail and were very attentive during our stay. The room was immaculate and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide range of choices. The location was great, just a short walk to the sea front and bars restaurants within walking distance. And we especially loved Poppy! Would definitely stay again - thank you!

We had seen the excellent reviews and would have no hesitation in endorsing all of the very positive comments contained in those reviews. Jamie and Yvonne were excellent hosts and could not do enough for us. We shall certainly return and would have no hesitation in recommending Mount Edgcombe to anyone who is considering staying in the Torbay area.

The Host done the most. Amazing couple running this place. They go the extra mile for you. The fan in the room and ride back to the train station. So pleasant stay. Our windows where facing the road but traffic did not bother us. And THAT BREAKFAST, wao, no waste "policy" flew me off and boy did I enjoy the every spoonful of it.

The hosts were lovely, always asking if we were happy with things and if we needed anything. The room was a very good size, the bed was very comfy.. The pillows were exceptional, Breakfast was to die for, lots of food to choose from, great value for money. Im glad i chose mount edgecombe.

Our short stay went so quick, but we'll be back at some point. Nothing bad to say. Everything was perfect for us.

Clean , comfortable, friendly and accommodating hosts, good value for money . Good location. A fridge in the room was very useful being a diabetic so I could store my insulin. The accommodation even has a bar! What more do you need.

Very friendly hosts, could not do enough for you. Excellent breakfasts, room very clean and comfortable, big bathroom with large shower and spa bath, will definitely return in the future, good value
