Just returned from a fantastic week at the Belmont. Abi went over and above to make our stay special. She even made sure there were extra treats for our cavapoo, Millie. The room was lovely, and the breakfasts cooked to perfection with lots of choice. The location is ideal for Torquay sea-front/town and to explore the local area. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Belmont Hotel.

Nothing. It was all good.

We had the apartment in the attic and it was absolutely beautiful! It smelt lovely as we walked in. It was so clean it sparkled. There was a folder in with everything we needed to know. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. There were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The beach was a short walk down the street. The hosts Abi and Andy were so hospitable, nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here. We are definitely going back for another stay.

We can honestly say that there was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

It was lovely and clean and perfect for family with kids. From the minute I booked, Abi & Andy reached out and kept in touch before the visit and even before arrival which was really useful as a full time working mum the texts with the reminders and useful info was a lifesaver. The place was like a home away from home. They made us feel like family. Amazing breakfast to fuel you for the day ahead (Baby Aerin was the highlight during breakfast!). Would recommend to all my family and friends. Thanks Again Abi and Andy x

I honestly can’t think of anything

More than satisfied with all aspects of the Belmont.The owners went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were so clean and everything we wanted was to hand. The breakfast was simply great and served quickly.Would like to return soon and would have no problems recommending as everything was so good.and what a great welcome to our two dogs they were really looked after. it was really sweet and reminded me of b&bs I stayed in as a child. timeless, pretty, comfortable and spacious rooms, welcoming owners. they provide everything you need in a room! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends wanting to visit Torquay.

sound does travel in the building, one night someone was very noisy in their room above us which kept us up a bit, but it was just one night and I put my earphones in and went to sleep. the owners also left earplugs in the drawers for us to use if we wanted! it does also say in the welcome email to keep it down after a certain time of night so I imagine most people staying won’t be so noisy.

Very friendly couple and there happy baby. Room had everything we needed including a fan in this hot weather.fresh milk in the fridge for our drinks, Clean and well stocked room. Provision for your take away if needed and lots of dog things provided. A great choice of breakfast was on offer and a pree ordering system in place. We'll cooked and quickly served. A very pleasant stay,would happily return.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, Hosts Abi & Andy are such a lovely couple and made us feel so welcome.. Keeping in touch before we even arrived to help everything run smoothly… The Belmont is a great location and if you are thinking of taking your furry friend along with you this is the place.. ☺️. Rooms are nice and spacious, clean and have everything you need. Attention to detail 👍🏻, home made biscuits in your room, breakfast cards, items at entrance as you arrive… Breakfast was A⭐️. Just a very relaxing and enjoyable stay… Thank You both Very much.

the minute we got there they were helpful . found out they are dog friendly towels by the door water bowls treats and toys to play with .you can top up your beverage supplies and toilet rolls in a special cupboard in reception so if you need in the night it’s there . Alexa I every room overall a very thoughtful couple to cater for your every need . plates and cutlery were in reception so if you had a takeaway it was catered for

breakfast room was a little cold but then it is December

Out apartment was well furnished and clean. The Wi-Fi was excellent and allowed my husband to work in the apartment one day. Attention to detail for the guests was superb. There were fresh local flat cakes and milk in the fridge. If travelling with a pet they are also well catered for with their own towels and treats. Whilst children have some fun beach toys available to borrow. The owners were always available if you had a query via text message.

No dislikes just an awareness- there are a couple of parking spaces behind the building. However please be aware anything larger than a medium size car will struggle to park. The good news is there is parking on the road outside of the 1 hour only parking area. Its just a 5mins walk away.

The bedroom was flawless, exactly as it looks on the website and the entire property beautifully presented inside and out. The bed and bed linens were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! The owners were so friendly and kind, going above and beyond providing useful local information. The location is fantastic (can see the sea at the end of the road) and the collection of pamphlets / black book, etc. on local attractions absolutely made our weekend. So many hidden gems in there! Impressed by the provision of board games and things downstairs, as well as the fantastic tea tray in our room - such attention to detail.

The shower tray filled up fast and was slow to drain, but could potentially be very easily fixed. I love that this hotel is dog friendly, but am not always great with dogs I don’t know, so in hindsight would’ve preferred to take breakfast in my room if possible.
