The B & B is in a great location and is less than a 10 minute walk to beach and cafes/restaurants . A further 5 mins walk and you reach the harbour where a good selection of restaurants awaits you. There are regular bus connections to neighbouring towns such as Paignton and Totnes, ferry rides to Brixham and Dartmouth and trains that run to Exeter. The host at The Trouville was most welcoming, always smiling and very helpful 😊

Left are experience was outstanding it was that good we have booked to go back down in September The breakfast was amazing and you could tell that it was locally sourced . The beach was 10 minutes walk and the bus service was excellent The room was lovely and the bed if I could of took it home with me I would have done it was that comfortable They provided a fan in the room due to the hot weather and we had a mini fridge which had water in it . It very quiet at night so you definitely get a good night sleep

Archi and Subir were excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Very attentive. The breakfast was all made with high quality ingredients. Our room was very clean and fresh. Archi surprised me with a beautiful gift, which made my eyes leak a little. Thank you again. Fantastic, beautiful people. We even had a sea view 🥰

Not that we didn't like it but the room was a little small for our needs. My other half is a big fella. 😆 But I'm sure if they'd had another room.... the place was fully booked, they would have moved us if we'd asked. But we managed.

I got there before check in time and rang the bell to see if I could cheekily check in early as I had a family funeral to attend. He asked if I could come back in half an hour and sure enough I was able to freshen up after the 5hr drive. If you're looking for somewhere to put your head down this is the place...no thrill's but the room was clean and was perfect for what I needed for the night.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Trouville! The owner makes a delicious full English breakfast. He is very thoughtful and kind, always going above and beyond to help ease the stress of travel. The owner engaged in conversation with us, and we were happy to chat! We ran into a few snags and the owner was super helpful and accommodating. The location is pretty spot on and close to downtown where all the action is. We could easily walk to the harbor or to the train station to explore the English Riviera some more. Next time my friend or I are in Torquay we will be checking with The Trouville first when looking for a place to stay.

The only negative I can think up is that the room isn't very spacious, but we didn't need much space so this was not a concern for us. Everything else was above and beyond exceptional.

Good location only 10 minutes walk from; the beach, the Train Station and the Town Centre. Single traveller was given a basement level room 8; perfect size with very comfortable bed and compact but fully functioning on-suite. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk/sugar provided.

No complaints, everything was as expected (didn't use the breakfast facilities so can't comment on those)

This is a small, quaint B&B in the heart of Torquay. The place although quite old is very clean and certainly fit for purpose for myself as a solo female traveller and needing to feel safe. The owners were lovely and welcoming.

That homely feeling you get in a Guest House. Room was compact but adequate for my needs. Memory foam mattress so I got a great nights sleep.Room was equipped with tea/coffee and bottled water. A full English was on offer for breakfast, and of course cereals and plenty of beverages.

Nothing in particular. But it’s location is such that there is a steady climb from the seafront. But of course it’s downhill all the way ! About a 15 minute walk. But very convenient for the town and railway station.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and kept very clean.

Parking not quite as easy as I thought. Some on-site parking, but moving car may be necessary to let someone out. We decided to park car in a side road which was free and just a short walk.

location ideal 10 minutes walk to the beach. Seating area out side small supermarket 1 minute away . Host was very attentive and breakfast was excellent

owner is renovating the property at the end of season , we stayed as a family in the basement room , ventilation needs improving as it felt a bit damp . We wouldn’t hesitate to return to this property once renovated as the host was fantastic!
