Absolutely delighted to find this little gem in an idyllic village, so much so that we have already booked again for next year too. Great little pub with rooms, our room was spacious and immaculately clean, with a large bathroom and lovely hot shower. Breakfast was great, and dinner was the best Indian meal I have ever eaten, simply delicious! The owners/staff were all charming, friendly and courteous at all times and ensured we had a perfect stay (thank you for finding me a phone charger for the weekend when I forgot mine)

The staff were amazing - I truly messed up on our check-in time and they stayed up waiting for us, after calling ahead to check with me. Breakfast was notably fantastic. The room was clean. The place itself had a really cute 'rustic' vibe.

I suppose the bed here was a little less comfy than elsewhere, and the walls were paper thin. We heard everything in the rooms around us. Definitely got treated to listening to the couple above us enjoy one another, and they certainly weren't being unreasonably obtuse in their efforts.

Great village location with plenty of secure parking. The staff were super friendly and the service in the restaurant was excellent. We had our dog with us and we felt very welcome. Dinner was delicious. There's a regular menu and an Indian menu. All the food was great but the Indian food was exceptional, some of the best I've ever had. Breakfast was good too. The room was comfortable and clean with easy access to the garden.

We had a great stay but there were a few small things that could be improved on. Our room was next to a fairly noisy extractor fan that ran all night. It would be great to have a doormat next to the garden door so you don't bring wet shoes directly onto the carpet in the room, or wet paws! The only other thing was that we couldn't find a bin outside anywhere to dispose of dog pooh bags. We took them home with us.

Comfy beds, nice food. Good location, very pretty peaceful village with easy access to lots of places to visit.. Rooms were in a different building to the pub, so reduced noise.

One of our rooms was in the eves with reduced ceiling height. My dad isn't tall but repeatedly bumped his head on the sloped ceiling. This room also had a large crack across the ceiling with a chunk of plaster missing Breakfast choice was limited, would have been nice to apple juice & pasties too

We are aficionados of the British breakfast, all agreed was excellent, but being from Louth Lincolnshire the sausage (not being a Lakings Lincolnshire Sausage) came in for criticism. Everything was cooked to order and table service was most agreeable. And the restaurant is spacious, light and roomy.

It was mid winter and our room was really warm so much so we had to turn the radiators lower. The upstairs room was in the quaint part of a converted stable so the room went into the roof. and we had an first rate sleep. Shower was good only issue was that I'm short and the sink was very high, but I managed to clean my teeth.

This hotel was located just where we wanted to be, the room was good, everything we needed, nothing special, large convenient car park. The restaurant was wonderful with a choice of superb indian dishes and normal pub food, no problem with choosing from either or both menues. The restaurant was spacious and well laid out. The breakfast was part buffet and the cooked section had to be ordered but arrived very quickly.

When we arrived we were moved into a junior suite, which was a nice surprise! It was a peaceful stay, the food was incredible and staff were helpful.

I wouldn’t preferred for the pub area to have somewhere cosy to sit and have a drink before and after dinner. All tables appeared to be set for dinner so after the meal there wasn’t anywhere to go and relax so we could free up the table. We ended up going back to the room earlier as a result.

The food I chose in the evening was expectional. One of the best Indian meals I have eaten. The balance of the spice flavours was a delight. The chef is a true master of their craft.

The upstairs room ìn the eaves with sloping ceilings was not great for a tall person. The sink position made it awkward to use with contact between head and plaster board a common occurrence..

Situated in a beautiful area. Free parking. Comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Lovely staff. Very welcoming and helpful when I needed to check in later than usual.

Tiny issue with several hairs in the bathroom on surfaces and a towel. Plus a clump of hair in the bedroom on the carpet. It can be a bit off putting but everywhere else otherwise was clean. Absolutely no other complaints. Just a tiny niggle.

The well equipped room was in a very quiet outbuilding. The food was superb. I had an Indian meal one evening and it was outstanding. Fabulous location in a stunning village and very friendly staff. The Indian gentleman who managed the hotel was really welcoming and very helpful. His decision to include British pub classics and Indian cuisine in the restaurant should prove to be very popular.
