The facilities downstairs was fabulous, excellent food, dining areas, bar, beer garden, all lovely. Friendly helpful staff.

The room I stayed in had no wardrobe just a few hangers on a rail on the wall, no chest of drawers or even a case stand, so you have to just leave your case on the floor and use that. A small desk with a missing drawer . No toiletries as advertised. The mattress needs replacing in room 4 because you can feel the springs sticking in you so I placed half the duvet under me to try and cushion the effect and as it is a super king size I was able to do this. The room could be so lovely with some TLC and new mattress and a small wardrobe. I hope they improve it.

We loved the ambiance of this delightful old World establishment. We were here for two nights and ate in the bar on both occasions and the food offerings were very good.

We had a very acceptable double room with all the charm of sloping floors and low ceilings but unfortunately it is located above the bar downstairs and you could almost follow the conversation going on there. On our first night it was not two much of a problem and by 11pm things had quieted down sufficiently to enable us to sleep. However on the next night the noise and music continued until 12.45 Am which we felt was really excessive and consequently we had a very poor nights sleep. The breakfast format is not the best and could easily be speeded up by laying out the cereals and coffee in advance as trying to get an early start was not so easy. The breakfast request form could also be simplified as it can be a little confusing and not always interpreted correctly

Bed was comfortable. Pleasant staff. Good size breakfast, with lovely produce. Quirkiness of the pub/rooms. Great location. Good food. Great outdoor area for children. Handy little village shop.

The only downpoint is that the music starts around 0730 and continues till around 0030, rm 3 backs onto the garden which can be noisy for little ones to get to sleep. Once the music goes off and pub closes you can hear a pin drop. Inconsiderate people in next door room letting the door bang shut, shook the whole room. Partner is diabetic, no sweetner on offer and toilet needs something to discreetly dispose of sanitary wear.

A beautiful inn full of character. The bedroom was lovely and spacious with a comfy bed. The staff were very friendly and it was clearly a popular place to eat, the restaurant was very busy but we managed to find a table for an evening meal. The breakfast was very good too. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful part of Wales.

We stayed for two nights, one being the Sunday evening and Monday morning was very noisy with the bin men and other workmen going about their business early in the morning but that can’t be helped. It was very warm so the windows were open.

Gorgeous olde-worlde building with a fabulous well-kept garden au naturelle! Greeted by the lovely Dan on arrival. A fond farewell from Rhianne on leaving, after two amazing days in the Eyrie National Park. Snowdonia Scenery to die for! Great ambience and friendliness here at the Victoria. Fantastic meals too. Breakfasts were especially delicious 🤤 Can’t wait to return - and we sure will, without a doubt. 5 stars - and more! Thank you 🙏 Gloria Victoria!

Everything was spot-on.

I have wanted to stay here fr a long time, I love this part of wales and refer to it as my happy place, it’s a beautiful building filled with original architecture. Stunning garden at the rear of the property with a play area for children. The pub itself is very large and is furnished beautifully. The bedrooms are finished to a high standard and very clean. The double bed was extremely comfortable and I slept better than I have in ages. The evening meal and breakfast were superb with plenty to choose from.

My only issue was the shower which was not free standing and I had to climb into the bath to use it, as a disabled person this was quite difficult.

Staff were very welcoming, the room was a good size and even though we had a bedroom facing the road it was very quiet. There is a lovely garden which is well looked after. It had a good bar area and the food was good. The breakfast was exceptional and more than enough for our large appetites. Really good value for money.

The bed was a little soft for our liking but that is our preference, we still had a good nights sleep. The shower was as powerful as we would like.

Breakfast was great - the Glamorgan sausages are a winner. Need to find out where to get those from! Dinner was also good value for money and nice selection of options. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and really good value. Only small niggle was that the carpet had come away from the wall fittings and I caught my foot on the carpet tacks a couple of time. The housekeeping team were great though and were on the case.

I have an EV and it was difficult to charge. They did kindly offer to let me plug in for a small fee but I was ok without.

We stayed for 4 nights. Our room was a great size and had a Queen bed, desk and small couch. It even had Netflix! Which was a bonus after a long hiking day. The breakfasts were outstanding with lots of choices and lots of food (I had orange juice, fruit salad, croissant (freshly made and hot), Vegetarian breakfast and coffee). You place your breakfast order the night before with the breakfast time and it was ready in the morning! The room had a kettle for making tea and cookies! We also had dinner 3 nights which was also very good. And ample free parking.

The music from the downstairs bar was a little loud but we were so tired and the bed was so comfy we didn't have a problem falling a sleep. The Kitchen was not open for dinner on Monday night so sadly we went to the next hotel for dinner....which was not as good as the Victorian Inn.

Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast. Good value for money. Beautiful area with great access for nearby attractions. Very close to some of the best beaches in the UK.

We stayed in a family room which was situated right over the bar area. Very noisy when trying to get kids to sleep. Saturday night had a live band until late. Not ideal for a young family. Priority parking for hotel guests would be nice, as evenings can be very busy in the car park with restaurant and bar patrons.
