Great location, very close driving distances to attractions like Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Swanage and Wareham town centre. The pool, sauna, swimming pool, steam room and gym were brilliant facilities. The pool and gym stay open until 9:30pm which was a bonus as we were out all day at nearby attractions so we still got to use them all. Our room was very clean, the balcony overlooked the pond area out the front of the hotel which is pretty. We got upgraded very quickly as the hotel was having some issues with the water system so we were well looked after. The bath was huge in the upgraded room. Country style, not modern but charming. Staff were very nice and helpful. The food we had (evening meal and breakfast) were both very tasty. Plenty of free parking. Overall we would stay here again!

The shower head in our executive room was incredibly old, could do with updating, took me a long time to wash my thick hair. The dining room we had our evening meal in is small, so if there are loud groups of guests in there, it is a very noisy environment. I couldn't hear my partner across the table. Not the hotels fault just highlighted for guests with sensitivity issues, may be worth eating out in the town. Under floor heating the bathroom could do with being turned off in the summer months.

Lovely large pool. A bit on the cool side but we soon got used to it. Good changing facilities and towels and lockers provided. Good central location Friendly staff. Lovely pond and garden area.

Bed was small when used to a king sized bed! Found it hard to get comfy. (our issue, not the hotels!) Bags of used linen left at the foot of the stairs. Still there the following day and we felt it should be kept out of sight. Walking area around the pool was extremely slippery. Just a bit tired and dated once you had got past the reception.

We arrived and were unexpectedly upgraded. The room was immaculate and spacious. The bed was super comfy and the views stunning. The pool area was clean. The bath in our bathroom was amazing

The pool itself was very cold so didn't stay in there long. The breakfast wasn't very tasty. The bathroom had underfloor heating which is amazing but you couldn't turn it off which meant it was very hot in the bathroom. The shower pressure in the room was poor

The grounds were super with the swimming pool, pond etc. Dining room lovely and a nice bar With friendly staff.

We stayed two nights Thursday and Friday, Thursday was fab nice and quiet but Friday night had very noisy quests, kept us awake, our room was above the bar area. The first day breakfast was fabulous but the Saturday was served buffet style and not nearly as good, cold or overcooked.

It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

It is rather dated and in need of a refurb. The staff were not overly helpful. There was no lift and the man who showed us to our rooms offered no assistance with our luggage, which was appalling, as he could see we were struggling with the luggage. We had to wait at the bar on more than one occasion, as there was no one there.

The staff were all very friendly. We were impressed with the size of the room and balcony. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked to order and included good quality ingredients. The indoor and outdoor pools were a good size. We enjoyed use of the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.

Air conditioning in the bedroom or at least the ability to control the temperature, the ceiling fan was inadequate. We were disappointed that in a spa hotel no treatments were available especially as the stay was for my birthday. The continental breakfast should include Danish pastries not just 2 croissants. The restaurant should open at 6pm to cater for families, 7pm is too late.

From the moment we arrived Michelle on Reception gave us an upgraded room with balcony which was very comfortable (Room 242), the pools were superb and everything about the hotel was really good. Glorious grounds, lots of parking and such a peaceful place. The Restaurant had one of the best menus we had seen and we enjoyed every mouthful and the wine was excellent too. Can't wait to return !

Nothing to dislike, everything was just perfect.

Friendly reception staff. Generous, quality cooked breakfast. Good sized room - we were upgraded - thank you :) Great location for Corfe Castle & coastal walks. Snooker room was fun. Spacious bar area, with nice seating & tables. Large carpark close to entrance.

Shame the outdoor pool wasn't open - we'll be back when it is!

Room was nice and clean. Only problem was that the room was very hot, but obviously due to the nice weather. Had a problem with the television, was not working properly. Food was excellent. The staff were very nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Also the spa was great.

Maybe have a fan in the rooms.

Staff friendly and helpful especially reception staff and the guy in charge of the bar. Room was good size with large bathroom and plenty of room on the balcony. Lots of natural light entering the room through the large windows and balcony door. Lovely outlook over the hotel garden and pool from our particular room. Well designed fish pond with beautiful shrubs surrounding it, very relaxing to watch the fish from the bridge. Ample car parking spaces. Squeezable bottles of liquid hand wash were fixed to the wall in the bathroom which I much prefer as I dislike bars of soap.

The TV was far too small and the wood out on the balcony badly needed sanding down and re-varnished. Didn’t stop us really enjoying our stay though
