Don’t be put off by the surrounding area images on maps or street view. Queen Mary Inn is the perfect location for easy access to the ferry terminal early next morning and only a short wander to the Town Centre and Quayside. Friendly welcome. Clean and comfortable room, with free parking onsite a big plus. Good communication with owner and clear instructions on how to find property. Photos on the booking site do need refreshing – although they are very similar today.

The warm welcome from Lisa and the team at the Queen Mary Inn, combined with some very good value home cooking, incorporating a wide range of pub classics, was a real bonus. We chose the inn for its proximity to the RNLI in Poole - but will definitely return when another opportunity arises. It is small, but very peaceful, despite being adjacent to a very busy road.

Clean room & pub. Friendly proprietor & staff. Great location for sea front/The Quay/town centre & speedway stadium. All food home cooked. Invited family for lunch their & all enjoyed the food.

I have a discrepancy about the bill. Booked via booking.com & paid in full i thought on the Wednesday before our stay two days later. Booking.com said i would pay £99 by paying on Wednesday & booking.com would pay the balance of £9. At the venue i was given a receipt for £108. The owner did not know what i had paid or that i had paid on Wednesday. I probably need to take this up with booking.com, but it would be nice if on reading this booking.com would refund me the £9.

Literally a last minute booking, the staff at the Queen Mary were very friendly and helpful, I didn't spend much time there, (arrived late and left early) Rooms are good value and the location was perfect for my meetings the next day... Thanks!

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub atmosphere was excellent with everyone joining in the collective card games. The food was excellent, as was the assistance in ordering a suitable vegetarian and vegan mean. 5 🌟 Already looking forward to the next visit!

Absolutely nothing

The hotel was situated close to the Quay and ferry terminal, which was the reason why we stayed there. The room was comfortable. I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat there.

The only small criticism is the shower pressure in our room.

Some road noise Near traffic lights and bikes in particular seem to rev up Didn’t interfere with my sleep but could hear them when awake

Could not of asked for more! I knew what i was looking for and found it. Fed up with soulless large establishments.

room was exceptionally clean, staff were very friendly, helpful and had a great knowledge of the area. Even though the car park was small it was never a problem parking. Property and room were easily accessible outside of opening hours. lovely stay

We had a great 2 nights stay here - the staff are lovely and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the home cooked food delicious and great value for money. Will definately book in again on any return trips to Poole.
