Great location, good room servicing and the majority of the staff were helpful and pleasant.
Sadly breakfast let the place down! Bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and baked beans were the hot servings. The hot food was pre-prepared and that was the downfall. The bacon and sausage were very very dry, which made the bacon like cardboard and the sausage tasteless, both were quite greasy. The scrambled egg was dry and crumbly, making the baked beans the best of a bad lot. Fruit juice on offer was a very watered down cordial. If this fair had been a one of I'd understand, however it was every morning, hence my negative comments. A number of glasses and cups were still dirty, even after being put through the dish washer. No fridge in the room

Great location for exploring the city. Staff are professional and friendly and sorted an issue that we raised to their attention almost immediately. Rooms are clean and big enough to accommodate a family of 4. Great shower with very hot water. As usual for Holiday Inn, the breakfast is spot on; there is a variety of cooked breakfast as well as milk/vegan options, yoghurt, cereals, pastry, hot drinks, etc.
There was a bit of a poor organisation at breakfast time. I am assuming the busy Bank Holiday morning played a big part in exceeding the capacity of the restaurant. Hence, people had to wait to wait for a short time to get seated. Not a big deal, though, and staff were trying their best to accommodate everyone.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They upgraded one of our rooms so that we would be in the same part of the hotel and were great at dinner and breakfast, ensuring that everyone had what they needed. The rooms were simple, but spotlessly clean with everything you’d need when travelling, as were the communal areas. Similarly, the food while a little limited, was well cooked and tasty. And despite the cost of living price rises, I couldn’t fault the price. Would definitely return.
More information online would have made things easier to plan ahead.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Very welcoming. Room was clean . Great location. Lovely Poole park a short walk away. Walking distance to the quay and town. Would definitely stay here again.
The kettle in the room was very old and didn't look good. Actually looked like it had been bodged repaired. There was one chair that was very worn and tatty. Both items should have been replaced ,although I didn't complain. When house keeping cleaned the room they should have noticed. The cooked breakfast was poor. Only sausage ,bacon, scrambled egg and beans

The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the staff lovely, very helpful and courteous.
Having tried to book a disability room and told all rooms were accessible, the shower was slippery, no grab rails and quite a high step for an infirm person, there was a towel rail that helped but due to it's intended use as a tower rail was too far away from the actual shower to be really useful. Breakfast was chaotic, the food was good and hot but you to eat a full English breakfast in stages as there was insufficient of each dish to serve yourself a full plate of food..

It was a better stay than the last time we were there! A change in staff helped and the food was a lot better but could still do with improvement. The hotel is in a very handy location and close to everything.
The scrambled eggs were made using powdered eggs....very gritty. Fried eggs had been taken off the menu. The coffee machine kept breaking down. Hash browns were slightly soggy and bread had to be put through the toaster twice....other than that breakfast was okay.

Everything good would definitely stay again when on a business trip.
We booked with booking.com with a DBB deal stating 'the final price you will pay' but on checkout we were asked to pay an extra £50 for dinner, we challenged this and showed the booking conformation, then the additional amount was dropped. It seems the hotel allows £15 pp for dinner, but that doesn't appear anywhere in your booking. Be aware when booking, the hotel reception informed us that this is a deal done with a 3rd party (ie booking com) and they are not aware of deals, make sure you keep your conformation at hand. We are now told these deals re no longer available.

The location is perfect for the town shopping the male manager was very helpful and friendly I could not fault him nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional was made to feel at home.
The bed was a double which we found quite small we are used to a king size bed at home, so the first night we didn't sleep very well the second night a bit better so maybe a choice of bed sizes in some of the rooms might be nice also my wife when sitting at the table to do her make up found it difficult due to no mirror at the table so had to stand at the full length mirror to do it so would be better if there was a mirror at the desk so you can sit down and do her make up, also no shower gel in the shower for some reason there was hand gel in the shower luckily we had our own shower gel.

I stay overnight 2 times a week all year round for work so have quite a lot of places to compare . This is how budget hotel should be . 10 stars . Staff was very nice and friendly . I was asked simple questions , how are you , how was your journey Etc . Very easy simple thing but not happening anymore . In the morning I was checking out early , before breakfast , I asked if I could eat whatever is ready , YES they said , SIR breakfast is ready , what a lovely change premier inn staff told me to f off once , same situation in the morning the breakfast wasn't ready ...and they are more expensive ... price more than reasonable
nothing

Rooms were nice and comfortable. "Does what it says on the tin.
I was not able to check in an hour before 3pm. I was informed they were short staffed and could not undertake this task. There was no other customer around. Very disappointing as I had also driven 4 hours prior to my arrival. I appreciate it was a 3pm check in notified. But to be told no when there were clearly staff available not actually doing anything was frustrating. I had to wait for an hour and observed many staff doing nothing.
