Very clean (fluff on the bathroom extractor needed brushing/vacuuming away but otherwise spotless). Spacious room, large bathroom and ideal facilities in The Explorer Room, such as the large illuminated wardrobe, tea & coffee making etc. Nice and warm too. Food in the main pub was great, and the breakfast menu included in the B&B price was superb. The full English is something to contend with! Marvellous. Lovely beer selection too. Last but not least are the staff - absolutely lovely people. So helpful and friendly. Worth visiting The Cherry Tree just for them!

Bed was not comfortable at all. Large raised lump down the middle (two single mattresses pushed together?) - could learn a lot from the Hypnos mattresses in Premier Inns. Shower head was loose on its bracket, and leaky causing water to run down the flexible pipe all around the top of the bath. This didn't affect its pressure too much but the loose bracket was a bit of a pain. If it wasn't for the bed I would still give The Cherry Tree full marks across the board.

The breakfast was delicious - a good menu which they were happy to adapt. We were also able to eat outside as the weather was so good. I understand the garden & outside bar have recently been improved too. The location was great - walking distance from the centre of Woodbridge, not too far from the station & easily accessible from the main roads. A good taxi service is based in Woodbridge too. The accommodation was set back from the pub, so privacy & noise were not a problem. Large rooms so plenty of space& everything you could want was provided. Two rooms are the ground floor & the larger room is up outdoor stairs. The staff were very friendly & helpful - nothing too much trouble.

Parking was a little limited when the pub was very busy but we didn’t have a problem.

Quiet location as away from main town and pubs etc., but close enough (ten min walk) to still feel involved. Also, nice cut-through to get down to the river. Staff at the Cherry Tree are amazing, and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely country-style pub with great food.

The room (Regatta) is very spacious with a separate bathroom, but thought about what people actually need is a bit lacking. Why is there nowhere to even hang coats? The bathroom is enormous, but again the space is poorly utilised. There's not even a chair to put anything on, and nowhere to hang a towel whilst in the shower - and no shelf space for toiletries (why is this ALWAYS a problem in hotels/accommodation?). Also in the bathroom, a little basic cosmetic maintenance wouldn't go a miss. It's very clean but just needs some TLC, and a new shower pole! Also, the storage cupboard in the bathroom was left open and stuffed with duvets - some of which should have been discarded a long time ago.

The rooms were lovely and spacious had everything we needed and the coffee machine was a nice touch. The pub itself is very nice, pleasantly busy, has a wonderful atmosphere and the food was amazing. Every single member of staff was polite, helpful and really friendly. Breakfast which was included in our stay was fantastic and cooked to order absolutely delicious.

The only thing that upset us was that we didn't book to stay longer. Absolutely everything was perfect.

Great pub and landlady. It was all very organised and the staff were friendly too. You can park in the pub car park and the room was on the ground floor which made it very easy to take the dog out. The pub grub I’d definitely recommend. Breakfast is fantastic! We had the Veg option which was cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place with a smile. You can’t go wrong….they go the extra mile.

The room was very well laid out and the bed was extremely comfortable. The barn is away from the hotel (across the yard) and is an excellent conversion. Breakfast is nnormally at 9.00am, biut since I needed an early start they quickly arranged for the staff to come in for an 8.30 breakfast.

A little more flexibility about breakfast would have been appreciated - I couldn't request the staff to come in an hour early, but I did feel hurried (not by the staff) at having only 10 minutes to eat.

Really great stay at the Cherry Tree! Location is perfect for exploring Woodbridge and the town. Spacious room, large bed, hairdryers/nespresso machines in the room. Extensive menu for breakfast accompanied by super friendly staff. All in all, a special find. Highly recommend!

Amenties such as shower gel/soaps was slightly limited and in travel miniatures. The bathtub often leaked when using the shower - though these were minor and didn’t impact our overall experience.

Staff at the Cherry Tree are AWESOME. Everyone was very friendly & couldn't do enough to make our stay a nice one. The pub had a really nice menu with a great selection of local beers and the garden/terrace area was lovely. We LOVED the breakfast!

The room was sparklingly clean, very spacious & well-appointed. The only negative thing about the entire experience was that the bed/mattress itself was pretty worn out and wasn't very comfortable at all. However, we were only there for one night, so it was a relatively minor inconvenience compared to the great pub, staff, location, and other amenities.

The Room was large and very clean. Bed comfortable. The room is in a seperate building to the pub and was very quiet. The main town is a short walk away. Breakfast was lovely, freshly prepared and the staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant too in the evening and food was tasty. Bathroom too was large and the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice to have a bath too. We really enjoyed our stay and would return.
