I like the room, it was very spacious and clean, the bed was very confortable. The breakfast was very big and delicious. The staff was really kind and helpfull. I highly recommend this place, I'll stay one more time no doubt.

The location was great to start the tour around the city, however the arounds looked a little unsafe because it was located in downtown and during the weekends there's no many locations open. The plus was the restaurants near Puerto Mercado.

The Wifi is one of the best parts of this hotel. It is really strong, and I never lost connection. The room itself was small but well-kept with good shower pressure and clean facilities. It is in a safe location with easy access to major bus lines and the port if one decides to take the Buquebus ferry to Buenos Aires. The breakfast is comprehensive with some great options. The staff are extremely friendly, and I appreciate that one can use the room key to unlock the front door.

The pillows were a little flat and the walls are thin, so one can hear boisterous people in the hallway (although this wasn't too bad). The shower also took a little bit of time to get warm, so be prepared to wait. Finally, the staff may not always be at the front desk, so I had to wait 5 minutes after my arrival to be let into the building, but I appreciate that they have a luggage storage room.

The hotel itself is a nice hotel with all you need. The room is comfortable and quiet. I slept great. Staff is curtious and helpfull. Breakfast good. The good thing about the location is that it's just 200 meters from the ferry terminal from Buenos Aires.

The only negative thing is also the location, which is in the old city harbor district. There are a lot of beggars. Most of them are harmless, some even polite, but some are aggressive, when they find out that you are not Latin American. I experienced this several places in Montevideo, but especially in the old city.

We initially chose this hotel due to its perfect location - walking distance from the port, since we travelled by ferry, and fast internet. The internet speed was excellent, no interruptions. WiFi worked really well in our room as well as in the lobby. Upload speed was more than 40 mbps and download exceeding 30 mbps - webinars and video conferences worked really smoothly. The room was very comfortable, the view was enjoyable - we saw the rooftops and some ferries in the distance - thus we were able to do some shipspotting. We adored the fountain in the small garden - it helped us fall asleep and calmed us. In the morning, we were greeted by some beautiful birds, but they were quiet. TV has a large selection of channels, even English speaking ones. Breakfasts were absolutely fantastic! Every time there was a new element, the variety was incredible. We would like to thank the team for their hard work! There have always been plenty of wonderful fresh delicious treats that kept us full until evening. Moreover, there was a supermarket "Frog" just 10 meters from the hotel that accepted both dollars and pesos where we also found some tasty food. All hotel staff were very friendly to us - the gentlemen at the reception helped us a lot and the ladies who were administering the cafeteria and exceptional cleanliness in the hotel were very hospitable towards us. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean,comfortable and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent.The location was perfect-in the heart of the Ciutad Vieja and close to all the sights there.I want to compliment the staff who were most helpful-Francisco,Oscar and Reuben,as well as the excellent ladies who prepared breakfast each morning... Top marks....10 out of 10.

The room was quite spacious and the bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is within the old city and so within walking distance to all the sights in that part of town. It is also within walking distance of the ferry to Buenos Aires which made our departure easy.

There was no fruit at breakfast and as someone who is GF, there weren't a lot of options. In terms of the area, as a woman who often travels alone, I'm not sure I would feel comfortable walking home alone at night. Many of the streets were desolate, and right near the hotel, there was some partying on the streets. I think two women would be fine, I personally wouldn't do it alone. That said, the hotel door was never locked, which tells me that the hotel believes the area is safe.

The location in the Old town is really good, close to everything you might need. Port Market with really good restaurants is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Nice place to stay in Montevideo.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They had great tips and suggestions for us. The breakfast was also really good! The location is near many restaurants and the port market, it's very easy to get around the old city and the bus stops across the street to get to the pocitos beach.

The staff were super friendly as expected...I want to mention Francisco at check-in when I arrived,and Oscar when I was leaving.The ladies who prepared breakfast were equally friendly and welcoming.The room was clean and comfortable and sleep quality was excellent.Thanks to Oscar for arranging a taxi to take me to La Terminal...Top marks...Definitely worth returning to.

The hotel is right next to a recommended market and several walking strips with food, parks, and shopping. Staff was very helpful and had an English staff person on site. But everyone was very willing to listen to our broken Spanish. Everything went smoothly.

The hotel itself is a little smaller than expected but doesn’t impact the overall quality. It can get a little dangerous outside at night but just be a safe traveler.
