I love the historical elements and that it’s downtown. The bed and breakfast feel is awesome. The home is gorgeous and it does take you back in time. The convenience and value sold us. They had a band Friday night and a dj Saturday night at the lounge. Breakfast was included and they gave us two drink tickets and koozies! Plus, we used it as a venue 12yrs ago for our wedding so we have memories and a history there.

It was hard to contact staff at times to get more towels or ask questions. The internet is spotty at best and we couldn’t ever get the tv to work. We we finally got someone at the front desk they were kind but not helpful.

From the time we walked in until we left, our stay at the Hotel magnolia was superb! We were greeted by Kevin (the owner) who gave us a nice tour of the property, and explained the history of the property, wow! He also walked us around to the breakfast dining area, coffee bar, ice machine, etc. and guided us to our room, very hospitable! We enjoyed the rooms' immaculate size, style, furnishings, bed, jacuzzi, balcony...everything! And kind of unexpected was the wonderful breakfast the next morning....there were five choices via the hostess, and we went with the omelet, man was it great...believe it was even cooked by Kevin the owner! If you are in Foley, Al, we highly highly recommend staying here! Top-tier quality...staff, location, amenities, convenience, breakfast, care....looking forward to our next visit! We love this beautiful hotel! There is so much history here and the owner is more than happy to show you all of the interesting things here. It is in the heart of Foley, AL and so many things to do and see close by. Also alot of Great restaurants. By the way the hotel serves a great hot breakfast and coffee every morning. We were told they will be opening a restaurant next door. The whole staff was wonderful and really go over and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied with your stay. We cant wait to come back again!

We had their only room available which was a room with a full size bed. It is very beautifully decorated, has a small closet and a clawfoot tub w/shower. We loved the room but the bed was a bit small for my husband and I. Would be great for single traveler. Next time will book earlier and go with a queen

We really enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back again! This bed and breakfast is truly a jewel in the south!!! The breakfast was amazing, the bedroom we had was clean and filled with beautiful antique furniture. The whole building was beautiful ! It was a walk back in time... Diana, one of the owners was fabulous!!! She gave us a walking history tour which was so interesting! Thank you Diana and your staff for a memorable and fun experience. Recommend this place to anyone who loves history and southern hospitality!!!

The shower was alittle tricky to work, but we finally got the hang of it.

I love this hotel. I stayed in the Presidential Suite for 3 nights. It was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, room clean. It was peaceful and quiet. The bathroom was beautiful and had a shower and a separate bathtub with jets. This suite also had a private entrance with a seating area. The breakfast was delicious and included home-made biscuits, bacon, eggs, grits, juices and coffee. The location of the hotel is excellent and you can walk around the area to antique shops, museums and restaurants. It's perfect because it's in between Gulf Shores and Fairhope, Alabama. This property is across from a beautiful public park and just a short drive to the outlets. The owners are on-site and they are friendly, lovely, accommodating people. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I will definitely stay at Magnolia Hotel again. The price is about the same as the hotels in the area. You won't be sorry if you choose this hotel.

I would have liked a coffee maker in my room, but you can get coffee in the hotel. Due to the layout of the house, there is no elevator for second floor rooms.

We love the history of the hotel and imagining who could have stayed there over the years. Bed was comfortable and we woke up feeling rested and had a great breakfast to start the day. Diana gave us some great stories of the hotel and the town of Foley that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Great balcony with the presidential suite and a nice porch out front that just begs to be sat on.

This bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations and everything was great. We were pleased with everything and would stay there again without hesitation if we travel to the area. Every staff member was awesome!

Beautiful timely hotel that's even nicer than the pictures. Facilities in room and around hotel were great, the snacks and breakfast included was a nice perk we weren't even aware of. Cosy room and very friendly staff throughout our stay would love to return if ever passing again.

Location is right next to a main road but our stay wasn't affected by any traffic noise

It was a holiday weekend and did not want to spend a fortune. Found this and it was perfect for price and location (especially to The Wharf). It was clean and friendly and bonus for tall people was a great size shower. They had complimentary bar where we fixed a whiskey and wine for a break and great free breakfast next morning. The grounds have a cute pool and garden with a very classic historical feel. Across the street is a gorgeous park to walk in. If interested the Train Museum is there too.

It was my partners first time there, he was so impressed. That made me happy. The breakfast is wonderful and I love the location. There are several antique stores within walking distance as well as eateries. Also, the park/trai museum across the street added to the ambiance . He wants to come back during the fall to use the Giant fire pits located in the courtyard

The pool wasn’t heated when we stayed. It was still nice though. We sat out there and talked with other guests

Wish the rating scale could go higher. We booked the Magnolia as an overnighter as part of our 54th anniv tour and it greatly exceeded our expectations. Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful hotel with a lot of history. We received a complete tour from owner Dianne while husband Kevin prepared a delicious full breakfast. Wonderful couple. Private little pool on a secluded patio along with a beautiful courtyard. Luxurious room with walk in shower. And as a bonus, our first ever complimentary full bar experience.
