The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was well-appointed and comfortable; really liked all the "pump" products in the bathroom so no fussing with all the tiny soap wrappers. Some nice surprises: the pool and spa area (indoor and outdoor) were awesome! Also, the fact that Gulf State Park is literally outside the door was fantastic; we hit the trails to walk our dog, head to the beach, etc. Lastly, the adjacent coffee shop, Southern Grind, was super nice to have--not only for some great coffee and atmosphere, but super fun gift shop.

There looked to be a small amount of blood on the side of the indoor pool (like someone hit their head?) which grossed me out, but the pool cleaners probably didn't see it, as you probably needed to be IN the pool to see it. The room we stayed in was pet friendly, and I could smell urine immediately when we walked in; the area rug probably need deep cleaning. Overall the cleanliness was very good, but these two things were the reason I couldn't give 5 stars for cleanliness.

The breakfast was great with lots of variety for everyone. Great to have the convience of grabbing a good meal before heading out for a full day.

Maybe a bit larger rooms with a larger shower would have topped it off. The location seemed well center to the attractions and sites we were here for and a very quiet stay with no disturbance

Staff was super friendly and we were upgraded to a family suite with a view of the ocean, upon arrival. The property was spotless and decorated beautifully for the holidays which makes it feel even more special! My kids loved the bunk beds, and the indoor/outdoor pool. My husband and I enjoyed spicy bloody Mary’s from the bar. Free parking and convenient cafe connected to the hotel for breakfast/coffee/snacks if you decide not to eat at the hotel restaurant. I look forward to staying here again!

The 1 thing I would improve about the property would be microwaves in the rooms to better suit guest with kids and even singles to be able to warm up food without having to go down to the lobby which has only 1 microwave so you end up waiting in line which would be very convenient since there is a refrigerator in the rooms a microwave would be awesome.

Hotel Indigo is both dog friendly and super nice. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We loved the decor throughout the hotel and the beautiful pool area. The bathroom also had a bit of an upscale feel to it, as did everything else. Everything was seriously the deep-down, smells-fresh type of clean. We were very impressed and happy about that.

The only thing that we didn’t like is the 40 lbs weight limit for dogs that are welcomed. We love our 55 lbs sweet boy as much as anyone loves their 5-40 lbs fur babies. Also, adding a guest laundry room would be super convenient (especially with washing softball/baseball uniforms during travel ball tournaments).

I absolutely loved everything especially the hot shower. It was like your own little oasis. The beds were soft, there was storage space for everything , there were so many different light sources that you are able light up the room to your liking and most importantly it was very clean. The staff everywhere was also very friendly and helpful.

The only thing i didn't like was there was no microwave in the room. There is a shared microwave in the lobby but that was very inconvenient to transfer hot microwaveable food to your room. Also the mini refrigerators were not ideal. I have never stayed in a hotel with a mini refrigerator that small. You can't even put a to go box in there from a restaurant.

It was a very clean hotel. We had an ocean view from our room in the hotel which was nice to wake up too in the morning. The breakfast we ordered was great and "hot off the press". The staff was nice.

We did have water seeping from the floor under the bench seating in our room. Initially, when we entered it was a "musty" smell. Also, the toilet wasn't clean during our stay. There was no microwave, but a small refrigerator in the room.

Excellent property and very convenient to the beach. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. I loved the room, and the bed was very comfortable. Julie at the front desk was full of information and on point. Lisa, the manager of the Hotel is the best make sure they get bonuses please.

Cleanliness, spacious and great location.

There are 3 of us who checked in, my husband and I and our 7 year old. We were only given 10 breakfast vouchers. It would have been nice if they let us know when we book that we will only get the breakfast for 2 person. It’s stated it’s free breakfast so it’s kind of disappointing. Other than this we had a great vacation.

Loved the staff they were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We loved how close to the beach we were too! The hotel was clean and the decor was cool too.

There was no working fan in our room bathroom and our mini fridge didn't work at all. The indoor pool room itself was heated however the pool itself was not. There was absolutely no mood lighting it was full brightness or pitch black in our room lol. I feel there should be at least one smoking section for your smoking guests.
