The fact that the property was right on the beach was a plus. The room was super comfy and clean. Even though we didn't have a room facing the beach, we did face a beautiful lake. They had multiple balconies on the floors with seating for you to look out and enjoy the beach, if you didn't want to go downstairs. The food was delicious. It had everything you needed there; if you didn't want to leave the property, you didn't have to. They had games and activities, i.e. ping pong table, available near the pool. Great facility overall.

There was a little walk to parking if you didn't do valet parking.

AC Was confusing and kept reverting to heat in the summer When I booked a room with a balcony I mistakenly assumed it would be beach front but it was not. I had to pay extra at checkin for that.

Loved the coziness and the private beach access.

The parking lot so far away and not having ability to use stairs to get to rooms. Neither of these things affected how much we loved the place. we regretted not getting a room with balcony overlooking the gulf. Would have liked to been given detail as to what the incident that occurred during our stay was all about.

Everything was perfect. The only hiccup was we made reservations at the Perch, and we went there, and they didn't have our reservations. They made us feel like we were lying about even having a reservation. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. The staff at all the other restaurants were great. The lady at the coffee shop needed help, though. Only one lady worked most of the week, and I felt so bad for her. She was hustling, though, and did a great job. Our room was beautiful. We ended up getting the separate room with the bunk beds, thanks to the amazing staff for accommodating that. The whole vacation was magical for our family.

Really nothing...other than our experience at the Perch. But the food was amazing.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location on the beach was great! The room was spacious. The bathroom was spacious.The lobby was inviting.The best price I found for peek season. The beach was clean and had fewer people than other places.

The bed was not as comfortable as i expected.The pillows were flat. The a/c never got cold no matter how low I put the temperature. The path to the beach was not well lit after dark. I felt like we should not have had to pay for self- parking in a lot next to the property. There were charges not mentioned until we got there totaling an extra $120. We brought our own chairs and umbrella because it wasn't provided by the resort.

location on Gulf and access to beach is tremendous, stunning views, pleasant and helpful staff everywhere we went, some design elements of buildings and complex were well thought out and constructed, attention to environmental sustainability.

some design elements of overnight stay in the room were not great. lighting in bathroom was poor, ventilation in bathroom was not existent, layout of towel/ clothing hooks poor covering electrical outlet and wall switch in bathroom, and wall mounted shampoo dispenser in shower not working. outdoor balcony had Adirondack style low chairs at our room location in 411 that when used could not see lake view unobstructed over the high railings present

The breakfast was fantastic. The waitress we had both days worked her tail off. She was amazing. Also, the dinner hour waitstaff was equally good. The ocean view room upgrade was really appreciated. We were in town for a family funeral and the staff accommodated our wish to see the ocean. Best bonus ever.

Well - it appears I left an item in the room and it hasn't turned up yet. It is expensive and will have to be replaced if you don't find it. I was told no one could help me about it until tomorrow. I am really worried about it. I wish I had been able to get an answer tonight. I am unsure why they would be so hard.

- great ocean view and situated within the state park - nice rooms - pretty good breakfast - lent us a hdmi-cabel for the TV

- communication between front desk & kitchen/service didn't work well (regarding glutenfree bread) and as well communication from the service staff to us was not ideal (first they said they don't have glutenfree bread, so my boyfriend went to our room to get some, in the meantime she told me she's asking in the other kitchen for it, than they had only 2 piece left and gave me 1... Next Day we just took ours in order not to go through that hassle again) - breakfast could have some cold cuts/ cheese - really old bikes with no profile tyres and bad brakes

We liked the convenience of have a restaurant, coffee bar, bar, and a small shop there. It made easy so we wouldn't have to leave if we didn't feel like it. Also loved the option on putting the purchases on the room number so we didn't have to carry our money with us.

We didn't like the fact that there was no microwaves in the room. When we would have leftovers from a restaurant we couldn't bring it back to enjoy later because we couldn't heat it back up. This caused us to waste money when we couldn't eat all our food.

I love that this is a green property and all the efforts to reduce our carbon footprint. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great, there were many options. We enjoyed this off-season visit. I'm curious to return when it is warmer and how it handles a full house.

The bell staff checking in was great - shout out to Parson? I think was his name! The bell staff checking out watched as we loaded everything into our car, never even greeted us.
