Hampton Inn Huntsville/Village of Providence, AL

Stopped here for the night on the way to Nashville and this hotel really set the standard. Perfect location for what we needed with lots of restaurants near by. We ate at Moe’s which wasn’t the best but there was so many more options like Taco Mama next door. The front office staff (Jeff) was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. He greeted us as soon as we walked in! His hospitality made our stay that much better. I hope he gets recognition for a job well done! Customer Service is very rare these days but he has it right. The hotel is beautiful as well and features many different photos of the area. So glad we stayed here!!

the location was convenient to shops and restaurants. it was quiet, clean and beds were very comfortable. Kori was very friendly and helpful upon my arrival and throughout my stay.

it would have been nice if the pool was open and a guest laundry area on the property instead of having to walk over to the adjacent hotel

The location of the property was great. The entire building is clean, fresh and updated. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The location is convenient to other shops and feels safe. In addition to the grounds being lovely you will find several places to dine that is within walking distance. But what makes this property excel is the staff. We encounter 4 different front desk attendants and each one was just as great as the last. It’s rare to find so many different employees who actually do so well at making guest feel welcomed. Kudos to a great team of employees!

This property is A++ can’t find anything to complain about when staying here!

I am glad I stayed at this location since it was close to the mall, restaurants and other attractions.

I didn't like the fact that the staff was unable to find my name Carlisla Woodard on the reservation but located my mother's name, Diane Leatherwood with no problem and she was the guest.

The personnel were tremendously helpful, friendly and competent! And the price was reasonable for the age and location if the facility.

This is a relatively new facility which still has a few kinks to work out, to wit, the very heavy combination closet/restroom door, a sliding "barn" door, was virtually impossible to slide because it was not sitting properly in its track. Additionally, we requested and received a ground floor room which faced the adjoining parking area and commons, and it was somewhat noisy until after 11:00 PM.

The staff here is out of this world! Alisha has been so helpful from the moment we set foot inside the door. They are taking precautionary measures with the pool, so we reserved a time for our family for an hour, and it was so relaxing. The neighborhood is more than we could’ve hoped for, with several restaurants within walking distance. There is a lovely green space across the parking lot, and there was an arts and crafts festival going on on Saturday. Absolutely would give 11 stars if I could!

The entire experience at this hotel was amazing. The check-in process through the app with room selection was amazing. I was able to select a room on the 1st floor when I arrived (instead of the 4th floor). The staff was responsive to text messages I sent requesting check out time and a pool reservation. When I went to get breakfast on Saturday morning at 6am, I found breakfast did not start until 7am. This was a problem as we had a cheer competition to get to and needed breakfast early. Without any hesitation, the staff opened up the breakfast area and let me grab whatever I wanted. Every interaction I had with the staff came with a truly hospitality mind set. Additionally, the location at Providence is great.

A covered area out back for smokers would be nice. Also, the area from the "back" entrance of the hotel to the parking area gets a bit muddy. Those are my only gripes and not really gripes at all.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. I reached to buy water and the staff member said "put that back, I have one here for free".

It would be nice to have a dispenser in the shower with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Trash bags in the trash containers. With housekeeping not cleaning the rooms everyday, offer trash valet.

every. single. thing. it was literally the most pleasant stay. peaceful. very friendly staff. clean.

if I had to have something I didn’t like, it would be all the construction and parking
