Hampton Inn Tuscaloosa-University

The location being near to campus was my primary selection criterion. The exceptionally clean facilities and room, hot complimentary breakfast and friendly staff were all happy bonus results. There was new construction outside the room so the “view” wasn’t spectacular. However, I didn’t book the room for the view.

This overnight stay couldn’t have been better.

Overall, the stay was good, clean, and convenient.

We notified the facility beforehand that we were traveling with a pet. At no time, either upon initial notification or at time of check in, were we advised that there was a $75.00 pet deposit. It should be disclosed prior to seeing it on the credit card statement.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and no noise at all during our stay. Location was ideal and close to most everything in town. I would definitely stay again.

Not much to dislike. All around good experience and nothing fell short of expectations. Great stay.

We were here to tour the University of Alabama. Gotta say this was a wonderful hotel - the beds were sooo comfortable! Very clean everywhere. Quiet. Lovely, friendly staff. Just down the street from UA (needed to drive but that’s ok!). The pool was really nice, clean, and a great place to relax and meet other guests! There were tables so we were able to eat our takeout food poolside. The best breakfast we’ve eaten at any hotel - a full spread with omelets, sausage, biscuits, waffle makers, cereal, oatmeal/grits packets, yogurts and fruit, and the best coffee! If our son decides on UA we will stay again!

The staff were very kind, especially those who helped out with the breakfast. Also, the breakfast itself was very good with a nice variety. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

We were disappointed the pool was outdoors, since it was raining, the children were unable to enjoy it. I was not thrilled about the location, it was a bit confusing to find the entrance.

The staff was so friendly. they let us check in way early which was a blessing because of our long travel day. the breakfast was awesome, fresh and delicious!

Came for my daughter's graduation and everything was great! You never know when booking somewhere new what you're going to get. Very clean comfortable rooms, super friendly staff, good breakfast and great location. We were 5 minutes from Coleman and downtown.

The room was very clean & comfortable. The whole place was. Bed was comfy also. The staff was excellent.

The breakfast situation was out of a lot of items that they had no intention of refilling.
