La Fuente Inn & Suites

Lovely grounds, large suite (separate BR) with very comfortable king bed and full amenities (small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair drier, iron, etc.), quiet, secure setting, great hot breakfast included (omelets, sausage, waffles, cereal, juices, potatoes, etc.), large pool and spa, very helpful, friendly staff, reasonable/competitive rates. Not new but well maintained.

No complaints about anything. (A note: no lunch/dinner restaurant in-house, but good restaurants next door and in immediate area, and some days a welcome social mixer with adult beverages late afternoons.)

There was a broad variety of both hot and cold items. This included an option of proteins.

Having to sign an agreement that my 62 year old disabled husband could not use his e-cig on the property. I can understand not in the room or even, to a point, an actual cigarette within so many feet of an entrance, but your expectations is ridiculous. There is no reason he could not have sat in the car in the parking lot. Other people may try to do it anyway but he did not as we do not take signing documents lightly. Instead, we both had to get up and get dressed in the middle of the night so I could drive him somewhere to get out and pace with his e-cig because his pain from traveling was so intense. I loved your facility but we will not be back because of this. His comfort and ability to deal with a pain-filled, sleepless night are more important.

The inner courtyard is a beautiful, lush oasis! There are lemon trees and flowering bushes and it just looks lovely. My room was clean and nicely updated. The tub was literally sparkling! The lady at the front desk is very nice. Breakfast was fantastic. Oh and the noon checkout time is awesome!

The parking lot doesn’t seem to be closely monitored so I kind of worried about my car. Maybe there are security cameras or even a security guard but I did not see them.

great location and friendly staff

the check in process could be improved, especially for travelers checking in after midnight. The facility billed the card on hold at midnight but then charged a new card at check in. They also only charge in 5 day increments but did not relay this so additional charges were confusing. Would also like a little variety on the continental breakfast as it was the same everyday.

Facility is clean, AC is super powerful, keeps the room temperature at desired level with ease despite very hot weather. The room was cozy, room services done every day. The pool was good. Breakfast was super!

The only downside was squeaky floor of the upstairs unit, so we could hear every step of people there, and they happened to be restless walkers ))

Room is spacious and very clean. I felt very comfortable and like the big garden in the center. It was cozy.

I didn't like that I booked through Booking.com using my debit card, which I have used from the beginning, but when I checked in I was asked either for a credit card or a $200.00 deposit. I was appalled because I have used this application many times and I have never been asked for a credit card or a $200 deposit. Please show me where that's stated when I made my booking because I don't recall reading that as a condition. Other than that, everything was good and the staff were friendly and courteous.

I really enjoyed how quiet it was. The courtyard was very clean and green. The gazibo is too cute! Perfect for pictures. Convenient location.

Whomever was at the front desk the morning we checked in, could have been more personable. I get it, it is the 24th of December at 2 am. I do thank her for working that day. My sister also works at a hotel and she too worked the 24th and the 25th. The difference is, she does it with a smile. I am not asking for chatty chit chat... a simple smile makes ALL the difference. The lady that we checked out with was great! P.S. My mother worked every Christmas as a child...putting food on other's tables.

We had a beautiful upgraded room that we didn't expect. We always stay at this property when we travel for business to Yuma. It was our best room ever!

The only issue we had at all, is this room has blinds instead of black out curtains and there were bright lights from the business across the street, that gave the room a slight glow. We like to sleep in complete darkness. Everything else was wonderful!

The hotel snd grounds are well cared for snd clean. We didn’t use the pool but it’s large and inviting. They have a happy hour in the evenings. The complementary breakfast is the best I’ve seen at any hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. All of the room and suite windows face into the courtyard/garden and there is no road or neighborhood noises at all. The A/C is effective and quiet. The location is near the Interstate, shopping, and good restaurants.

There was nothing that I disliked.

very clean and comfortable. the rooms and pool were lovely. breakfast was great!

the only complaint I have is that there were people at the pool who were there to party and had their music insanely loud while there were families also there with their kids. there was a sign that said “no speakers- no loud music” but it wasn’t enforced. I do wish that was a little more enforced just for consideration of the families and kids that were there to relax.
