For the price, it was the perfect spot for me to take an impromptu trip to the Bay for a weekend. It had everything I need: helpful staff, comfortable bed, blackout curtains, a roomy little fridge, microwave, cable TV, a nearby protected parking spot, and respectful guests around me. A huge plus was they allowed me to have an hour-late check-out due to unforeseen circumstances. Bonus - I was lucky to get a nice view of the sunset from my room.

The only things I would change is warmer softer lights by the bed & fixing the remote's volume controls.

When I arrived, there was an issue with the sink, but I let the front desk know and they promptly fixed it. I was impressed! The room was clean and the location was great-- walking distance to tons of restaurants and parks, and a bus stop right outside. Also, we unexpectedly got a discount because they aren't providing breakfast (due to Covid).

I arrived about 5 hours before I could check in and had traveled for days by train and bus. Luckily, I was able to leave my luggage at the front desk, but this is a motel and there is nowhere on the property for guests to sit and wait if you don't have access to your room yet. There is only a parking lot. No benches. It felt hostile to pedestrians.

The location was close to dining, grocery shopping, and site seeing. Public transportation was more than adequate. The front desk was helpful and even provided me with a sewing kit to repair a garment.

I cannot think of anything unfavorable. It rained after we left. So, we felt pretty lucky, actually.

Super clean! The flooring was tile in the bathroom area and some nice wood laminate everywhere else so it seemed easy to clean which was reassuring during this pandemic. Also, no cleaning person came in the room unless we requested it which meant we didn't need to worry about the potential spreading of any viruses. This was my first hotel stay since the pandemic started so I was very relieved and pleased with all of the safety precautions. Also, a fabulous coffee shop was just down the block serving excellent coffee and delicious baked goods.

Wish there had been a bath tub, but the shower was nice. The parking spaces were a bit tight so don't bring a big car! But this is downtown Berkeley so the free parking was a nice perk.

The place has a good location in Berkeley at reasonable price. It is clean, it has parking, The bed was comfortable.

I do not have any significant objections that I would mention.

Great value for money, clean accommodations, nicely remodeled, convenient parking lot for guests especially in Berkeley where parking is a premium.

Small parking spaces not made for SUV sized vehicle. On our last night our license plate was stolen from our SUV while parked in hotel lot. Probably better surveillance, more cameras and lighting needed in lot.

Parking spaces are VERY narrow. But parking is free, a rarity in Berkeley so I’m not complaining.

It was clean only needed another bar of soap. I didn't have to wait too long to pick up the key to enjoy. Money well spent!

Not enough accessories only one bar of soap also needed Another towel for my grsnd-,daughter.

Having 3 beds in the room was great. The teenagers could each have their own bed. Clean floors is a plus, no sketchy carpets. Very quiet location. The updated room is spartan in a good way-functional tidy and clean. Worked well for our family of four.

Shower had a little mold but liked that we could open the window in bathroom.

The place is what you will expect from a motel. The receptionist was vary supportive. Price was very reasonable.

Minor inconveniences, missing towel one day, missing shampoo in the other, etc.
