The rooms are spacious and clean. I didn't need the full kitchen for a one night stay, but price was a little less than other hotels in the area. Loved that it was super easy to stream content from my phone to the TV. Many hotels have not figured out that this is the preferred way to watch for more and more people. The bed was super comfy with lots of pillows for lo I nging / reading in bed. The breakfast was very good. Bacon, eggs, yogurt and fruit.

The desk clerks were not at all friendly and actually had an air of disdain toward the customers. I felt bad because they were having to work on Christmas night, but even simple questions were just too much for them. At one point, I thought we were going to get in a fight with one of them because we didn't understand how the room hold charge worked and she didn't want to go through the explanation in a civil manner.

The room was very spacious and clean, with great view of the Bay. Location is relatively quiet and it is very easy to get to San Fransisco by car or using the transit bus (bus stop is 50m from the hotel). A lot of available parking spaces, although very pricey ($22/day) considering it is not in the city...

Breakfast variety was very limited and the same every day. And there was definitely not enough space for the hotel guests to have their breakfast. At peak times people would take their breakfast to their room... But worse of all, there was only plastic cutlery and single-use packaging for many things, definitely not environmentaly friendly! Wifi signal in the room was somewhat weak. With these room rates and taking in account the location, parking should have been free.

The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed having a suite with a kitchen. The refrigerator even had an ice maker, which was awesome. It was really nice to be able to prepare our own meals instead of relying on restaurant food. The room was pretty clean, though I did find a drop dried toothpaste on the bathroom counter. The walk-in shower was great, except the hand-held showerhead was way too high; I'm 5 ft 3 in and had to stand on my toes to reach it. Free wifi was good and reasonably fast. The bay view was lovely. The outside seating area and pool were great. The hotel is close to the freeway and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. It was reasonably quiet for being close to Amtrak and the freeway.

The sofa was uncomfortable; it was hard and very low to the ground, so lounging around was not as relaxing as I'd hoped it would be. The TV was supposed to have Chromecast, but it wouldn't connect to the hotel's wifi, so we were stuck with boring cable TV. The mattress on the bed was a little too firm, and the pillows provided were either too hard or way too soft. I usually bring my own pillow, because I am picky, but I forgot it this time. Also, the toilet was too low to the ground, and there was no grab bar. I've noticed this at almost every hotel I stay at these days, not just at this hotel. I'm not sure who decided that toilets should be a foot from the floor. Definitely not awesome for elderly or folks with bad knees.

It’s a great location, especially if you are travelling by Amtrak, but also for anyone visiting San Fransisco and not want to pay high prices for second rate accomodation in the tourist heavy centre of SF. Emeryville is just a short metro/Bart train ride from Emeryville to SF. Emeryville itself is well worth a look around. It’s an up and coming area with new large shopping strip a short walk from the hotel and many places to eat and shop. The hotel itself is luxurious and well appointed. We had a large suite with seperate bedroom and fabulous views across the bay. There was no traffic noise that we noticed and only the occasional faint toot of the train horn noticed. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the temperature of the room was easily adjustable to our desired temperature. The included breakfast was similar in standard to the other major hotels that provide serve yourself breakfast in there dining areas.

They didn’t have a kettle in the room, but we were able to borrow one from reception for $25 deposit, which was a little over the top give kettles can be bought from Target for less than that, but we did get our money back when we checked out.

Would have been nice if the TV chromecast was working so we could have watched Netflix Was a little too loud. Location wasn't the greatest but the public market near by was really good. I would recommend this to customers. More fruit at breakfast would be nice

I’ll start with saying I didn’t realize Hyatt House meant a literal tiny house for your stay so that was awesome. Pleasantly surprised considering I didn’t do my homework. The location was amazing. Very walkable if you didn’t drive in from good food to affordable shopping. Very close to freeway entrances. The included breakfast was delicious serving up French toast with sausage and eggs plus a yogurt/oatmeal/cereal bar with milk/juices/coffee/tea available and fruit until 10a on weekends so you don’t have to wake up super early! The room and view were great, we were on the 12th floor corner unit. Entire property was very clean as well and staff was polite and helpful.

Our room windows weren’t sealed properly/all the way so there was a bit of a draft. Not too much to make it uncomfortable during the 40* weather but enough to notice. Not sure if it had anything to do with the windows being able to open but the one in the living room area was broken. Not a big deal for us though. It also was a little expensive because of the almost $100 extra in fees (occupation/tourism/parking) on top of the room cost but the free breakfast helped make up for it saving in that area

the suite was comfortable and clean . sofa could use new cushions

the laundry room needs better organization. guests are allowed to put laundry in two of the working machines, leave and not come back to remove it till long after the wash is done. Spoke up the front desk after waiting 20 minutes., (when I walked in the machines were completely stopped, laundry was done). I was told there was nothing that could be done , I had to wait until that guest decided to come back to remove their laundry from the 2 working machines. UNACCEPTABLE!!

Great location. Close to oak airport and walkable to shopping and restaurants. Easy uber to San Francisco and never waited more than 5 minutes for one. Staying in a suite made stay much more comfortable. Other guests were quiet. Staff accommodating and promptly addressed housekeeping concern. Front desk let me borrow a towel for trip to beach. Nice outdoor seating with fireplaces. Breakfast covered all the bases and was refreshed regularly.

Housekeeping starts VERY early, around 8:15 and I did not plan to leave until after morning surge (10:30ish) and didn't really care to answer the door that early either. I appreciated the pantry but more variety would be great. Sime late evening staff was helping themselves to beer on tap at the bar and avoiding guests.

Everything was great couldn’t ask for a better stay I would Come back eventually

There’s nothing not to like other than I didn’t get a chance to get in the jacuzzi because little kids where in it and the parents was not watching them they where letting the horseplay and jump in the pool so didn’t get a chance to get in the pool or jacuzzi I mostly trying to get in the jacuzzi in the kids took over that so I just left.
