Housekeeping

The staff were wonderful, especially Tia, who made sure we had a marvelous room with views on both sides on the 6th floor.

Bit difficult to schedule our brief daily outings, as well as the visits of relatives to our room, without knowing the exact hours cleaning staff would need access to our rooms... Disapointed with the lack of a coffee machine and the availabilty of Real coffee in our room, instead of just having instant coffee powder to mix with hot water.

Comfortable spaces, fun old school university theme, student ID key cards featuring famous alums, pleasant bar and restaurants, very nice and accommodating staff all round (from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar). Also perfectly located for various campus and greater Telegraph Avenue doings.

Quite a minor issue but I would have loved caffeinated steamed coffee in my room. Only had a stock of decaffeinated.

Great location, very close to the Berkeley University, very helpful staff, the room is very spacious with two king size beds - good for families or friends travelling together.

The shower water pressure in the bath room was very weak, also noice isolation is not good, you can hear your neighbours talking.

Cool design, decent sized room with a small walk in closet - perfect for storing luggage. Bed is comfortable and WiFi good enough for video calls. Loved having a tea kettle in the room!

Like many older buildings in the area, it’s a little noisy - noise from hallways and neighboring rooms very easy to hear. Average water pressure in the shower, and use of paper cups everywhere feels unnecessary.

The location is great and quirky design is modern. Nice to have an open lobby and adjacent restaurant.

Placement of bathroom sink in living area is awkward. Sliding door to bathroom was sticky and loud to move. Bummer the once delicious coffee shop/bakery is now gone, leaving us wandering around early morning for coffee.

it’s one of the best Hotel I stayed so far, the location is the best, it’s close to all the restaurants , campus and my daughter Dorm, also I like hanging out at the lobby window area, I was able to take out food and eat it there in peace, the rooms are clean and comfortable beds, I have the clock tower fir a view , it’s cool.

The hotel is extremely cute. I loved all of the quirky décor, the room keys and the restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooms and lobby area were very clean. The staff was extremely nice as well.

The rooms are a little small, and there were no fans in the bathrooms. Everything else was great!

Location is great and the beds were comfortable

Parking was an issue. Luckily I was able to find street parking nearby. Also, the door between our room and the adjoining room had a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door, which resulted in loss of privacy. The elevator was very small and slow.

loved the staff, atmosphere and beds. The beds were so comfortable.

The restaurant was awful. The service was so slow it was better to go somewhere else. The food was terrible. I know it’s hard to get staff these days but orders could be put in while making fancy coffees.
