Beautiful location near SFO airport with a walking path by the waterfront. Short hop to airport with free shuttle bus every 15 min. Convenient

Cleaning of room is by request. when checking in I had asked for cleaning on day 2 (staying 4 nights). Front desk said they will arrange but it wasn’t done. Had to request for clean up again. Wifi is not free. Have to be member of Marriott, which I am. Front desk didn’t even ask for membership until I asked about need to pay for Wifi. Also no free bottled water. I discovered the dispenser in the lobby on day of checkout

The view from anywhere on the hotel grounds was fantastic! The lights of the airport across the water were so beautiful. The food at the hotel was great and the beds were perfection. Was worried the sound of the planes in the distance might be an issue for my light-sleeping friend but she said it wasn't an issue and she slept great. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The shuttle drivers were on time and professional. All-in-all, very happy with our stay.

I needed to call the front desk to ask about the shuttle options from the airport: trying to get a phone number, or connection, to the front desk of the actual hotel was a NIGHTMARE! TOOK THREE CALLS to the general number. Maddening. Also the smell of the potpourri as you walk into the hotel lobby was obtrusive. Several of us in the elevator commented the same thing...WAAAAY too strong.

This was our second stay in a few days at this hotel, and we paid a little more for a waterfront room this time. This was well worth it. The room was slightly bigger and the view made our stay very restful. Be prepared for the low rumble of taking-off and landing aircraft on the SFO runway immediately opposite, across the water. The room is well insulated, however, and we didn't find this disturbing, with the great and beautiful views we got because of the location in the hotel completely outweighing any noise concerns. We appreciated the complimentary access to the M Club with included breakfast (as compensation for a few issues with our earlier stay here).

It would have been nice to have room service as an option, but that is still not available post-pandemic.

Internet was $16 US which is $25 for me in NZ dollars for ONE day! Shocking! Breakfast was ok but again very expensive for me for what I got as it was a menu not buffett and all I really wanted was a coffee and cereal - I ordered avocado toast and it was more like guacamole on thin toast and cost me over $50NZ so less than ideal for me.

The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Marcella at the front desk helped us get connected with the shuttle. The housekeeping staff (5th floor) were very helpful and friendly. The lobby restaurant food was very good (very fresh cobb salad and the chef and table staff splint the salad for us. We appreciate that personal touch. The waitress who helped us on Saturday and Sunday 3/11 and 3/12 was fabulous.

This hotel was the BEST airport hotel experience I have ever had. Forst of all, if you are lucky enough to get one, rooms have a view of the water and airport. The room was spacious, the staff was AMAZING, and there were (good!) places to eat within walking distance. And, the shuttle was on time!!! This will be my "go to" SFO airport hotel from now on!

Easy shuttle service from the airport, great location, and fantastic looking property in good repair. I was impressed by the walking trail out front, near the water. Good sound proofing of the rooms from adjacent guests, although couldn't shield out all of the noise of the airport. The SFO airport gets quiet and less busy after 11 at night though, and it becomes a non-issue.

A few more food choices at the lounge area would have been nice, preferably more seafood dishes. Other than that, I can't think of anything else that really stood out that could have been negative.

the room, location, reception

- we spotted some ants in the room - we wanted to go for breakfast to downstairs restaurant, but were told by the hostess that there were no empty tables and waiting time is ca 15-20 minutes, although many tables were unoccupied...Luckily Starbucks was close by...

It was very modern and comfortable, also there was many facilities there that came useful. Also the location next to the airport is very convenient.

The water downstairs was very expensive and also no one was manning the desk to buy the drinks / snacks so I had to wait a while for someone to process the water I wanted to buy.

Large hotel that is well managed. Everything was comfortable and well thought out. It is quiet yet still has a city buzz because lots of business happening in the restaurant. Right along the ocean, with short seawall walk.

Wifi was slow. Considering it is a place where many stay because they are working in tech and tech companies nearby, was surprised by this.
