I booked the base room with two queen sized beds, it was more than enough for me. The en suite Bathroom was very large and clean. The interior was well appointed and clean, much better than I expected from some of the previous negative reviews.

The Air Conditioner was very effective but relatively noisy. A modern Split System AC would have been much quieter.

It was a beautiful setting on the edge of the golf course. The building was old all Re-done. The mixed style old v modern worked well. There was a small patio to sit an enjoy the out doors.

The only thing that was a little different for me was children a lot of vacationers . I won’t say I didn’t like it it was something I had not thought about. At night no lights so very dark

At both checkout and check-in, the front desk employees were very warm and inviting. The general grounds were clean and tranquil. I appreciated the coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating from our sliding door. We sat there for a while and watched kids play in the pool and golfers golf! Huge bonus that this location was only 30 mins from San Diego Convention Center. I was in town for work but didn't want to stay for "networking"...I wanted to make this a work/play adventure. We loved that there was a 24/7 shuttle to take us to and from the casino - our bus driver, Jeffrey was prompt and got us around safely!

The "resort" was more like a very clean motel, not a resort. Pictures on the internet were somewhat misleading. I woke up with a terrible backache - not sure if from the bed? Also, we could hear everything that was happening in the room above us...walking around and doing all other things grown folks do in the middle of the night.

This was a beautiful resort stay! The room was modern, big, and very comfortable. The bathroom was big, also. Nice room. We walked around the area into a beautiful park-like setting with a gazebo, waterfall, and flower garden. Very relaxing, lovely evening walk, so calming and quiet! Beautiful flowers were growing everywhere. Cannot say enough about this wonderful stay!

No breakfast provided, but was not a problem since we had our own food.

The beds and pillows are comfortable and the views are wonderful! Mountains surround this resort. It’s a golfers paradise but I’m not a golfer. I would stay here again! Breakfast was excellent! I was impressed with the quality of the food and the plates, cups and the linen napkins. The staff in the restaurant was very attentive!! The manager listened when I expressed a difficulty I was having (being able to extend my checkout time) and didn’t hesitate to accommodate my request. His name is Ricky.

It bothered me and didn’t bother me that I could hear the footsteps above me. I’ve never experienced that in a hotel. But the room was very nice and very large. (Which includes the bathroom, vanity dressing area.)

Serene setting four miles east of El Cajon. Lovely view of golf course and valley. On-call 24-hour shuttle takes guests between Sycuan’s Singing Hills property and their bustling casino and modern hotel 4 miles east. Both venues attractively set in a river valley surrounded by picturesque hills.

Need to drive to El Cajon for shopping etc. Rooms are furnished with basic, easy to clean treatments. This may appeal to visitors particularly concerned about cleanliness.

Spacious, clean room. Nice golf course. Good restaurant on site. Friendly staff. Great place to stay.

Issues with door lock (resolved but inconvenient). Issues ordering takeout from restaurant. Manager did offer compensation as gesture … appreciated it.

The check in and the hospitality of the staff was really fantastic. The golfcourses close to accommodation also a unique expirience. Rooms were big and renovated.

Information if there is something special at the resort. Then bookers can decide if they want to book or not.Big Golf Tournament during my stay and of course more "noise" than expected. They were there for "fun" which is ok of course but as an outsider I was somewhat "surprised".

Loved the smell of the grass on the golf course, great views, front desk staffing was friendly, housekeeping was so sweet, dining was excellent at Red Tail, prices were great, parking exceptional, rooms were clean. We loved staying on the ground level with the patio with patio chairs, we had maintenance come to check on the tv and even the maintenance staff was friendly and courteous. Gave us a brand new tv to assure we were satisfied. Buy hands down the best for us was the beds…OMG! The pillows OMG! It was like sleeping in the clouds! We loved the pillows so much we looked them up and bought some online! This hands down has been our favorite place to stay and we’ve stayed at a lot of places in San Diego/El Cajon. Our new place to stay from here on out.

Clean, quiet and beautiful

The property is great because all rooms seem to have a view of the golf course. The room was large and clean and staff very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was great and the food presentation was wonderful. We ate breakfast there twice. Sunday brunch was delicious.
