This is one of the most modern chain hotels I’ve ever seen. Beautifully decorated, sleek and fun vibe. There is a great lobby with a fireplace and big screen TVs with numerous tables set up. You can play games, sit and read or just gather with your travel mates. The bedding was super comfy. The pool and hot tub were great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in a couple of hotels in Eureka and have never been impressed. Believe me when I say you will not be disappointed in this place.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than I've had at any other hotel, though admittedly I don't get around much. But certainly better than a regular continental breakfast.

The view was of the parking lot and main street, and the hotel hallways tend to be very warm and stuffy. Usually I am quite critical, but aside from the price and the abovementioned, there wasn't anything to complain about.

the room was clean, and yes I even used the black light to check and make sure it was clean. However, my son left his blanket there between the bed sheets and as soon as we walked out from the room a cleaning lady rushed in after we left and opened the window. ( we parked the car next to our room and saw her through the window). she cleaned up our room. I called back that same night we left and everyday for a week to ask about the blanket and they said they never seen it. It’s a Toy Story blanket with my sons name on it in huge writing in black lettering. it’s a really nice blanket and I know she seen it too and didn’t turn it in the the lost and found.

The cleanliness was SPECTACULAR!!! The hotel lobby immaculate, the hotel pool area---immaculate, our room---spotless, the breakfast area was pristine! The décor for the lobby, the halls, the rooms, the pool area was stunning.

The front desk staff was just "ok". Unkempt, not out going, completely unresponsive to questions from this booking site.

The breakfast worked well for me with scrambled eggs and sausages. Would have been nice to have bacon instead of sausages since we were there 5 nights.

The lighting in our room was very bad in the bedroom area and the kitchenette area. Desperately needed a night light in the bathroom. We purchased a night light so we could find the bathroom.

The breakfast had a good variety of foods. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal and fruit. I liked the mango passion fruit juice. We were able to sit in the eating area and watch the news. Plenty of tables for everyone. The room was large and very comfortable. Heating worked well so we could keep warm.

I never like the 11:00 check out time but since that seems to be standard we'll live with it. It's also a little pricey for one night's stay.

The rooms very clean. I tend to notice everything whenever I stay in a hotel room right from the bedsheets, sink, mirror, curtains, shower curtains and even liners. I was pleased with the upkeep. There was a microwave in the room which made reheating our take outs easy specially after long hikes at the redwoods.

I wish there were more options in breakfast.

The breakfast was excellent and our kids loved the pancake machine at breakfast. Definitely a great assortment of goodies for breakfast. Would highly recommend anyone that stays here has the breakfast.

I wasn't thrilled with the homeless situation in the city and near the hotel. This is not caused by the hotel but it definitely made the town less enjoyable and kept us on our toes in certain areas. Glad the hotel had fencing around the parking lot to help avoid any break-ins and theft.

Continental breakfast was extremely good. The bedroom was well above what I thought I'd be getting for a what I was told is a two-star hotel. Then I guess the pool was good I never actually went in it as I was tired and needed to sleep. The staff was on point and were able to help anytime I needed assistance for any reason. I will definitely be joining the IHG group and will more than likely be booking from this point forward with them.

To be fair there was I don't know I enjoyed my time I didn't really have any issues or complaints

nice location for Eureka..good shower with two soap dishes..Plenty of charging outlets. very comfortable beds

awful chairs in the breakfast room. too short, makes me feel like a 8 year old child. I complained about this the last time I was here, but apparently corporate HQ is too cheap or uncaring to change the small chairs..must be the oddest breakfast dining experience in all of the US
