This hotel has all sorts of incredible charm. The building is spectacular, and the rooms are individually decorated and unique. Super tall ceilings, and tons of interesting art to explore. The furniture was beautiful and each floor had a lounge room with even more beautiful decor. Our room had a very deep and beautiful red bathtub. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly and the location is central to all the activities you could want. We loved pulling up to see the pride flag waving above the building!

We would definitely stay again, but these notes might be helpful to future guests. The hotel is in a historic building without modern ventilation. Our room had a cute fireplace heater and windows that opened. There were a couple of outlets in the room but not enough for all our tech. The power strip on the nightstand was helpful, but we still relied on portable batteries to charge our devices. The curtains do not block out the sun which meant no sleeping in.

Beautiful Victorian hotel restored by Eric Hollenbeck of Blue Ox Millworks. Updated facility with 2 eateries/lounge options. We got lucky and arrived on Tuesday when yoga then dance groups meet and greet. Fantastic music venue enjoyed with the locals for the 13th annual Bob Dylan’s Birthday Bash. Classy covers with food/drinks served by Phatsy Klein’s lounge staff. Families welcomed and dancing encouraged. What a treat! We relaxed in our well-appointed room with bay and city views. Comfy bed with quality linens. Beautiful antiques, electric fireplace and great smelling toiletries…and our room was immaculately clean. Freshly baked pasties with hot coffee, yogurt and fruit available in the lobby.Just a lovely stay!!!

This was a great little surprising find. We loved the heritage of the establishment. The family has done an amazing job with the hotel. Everything was as expected. You'll find this wonderful gem a great addition to your trip. Be sure to check out Tavern 1888. We had amazing service from Mr. B & Bailey. Our drinks were bang on and our desserts very scrumptious. We didn't actually indulge in dinner but what we viewed looked perfectly delicious. Every server was incredibly happy to be there. It was very much appreciated to be in such a welcoming atmosphere. Although higher prices than In-N-Out much better offerings. Worth every penny!!!

Although not in the best part of town you can feel very safe. Don't be put off when pulling in, the city is definitely building up this area. We were sorry we only stayed one night and will definitely be back for longer next time.

We loved the history and making preservation a priority of the old hotel. Our rooms were spacious and we used a couple of the common rooms to play cards at night. Parking was free and easy. Some of the furniture was truly lovely. Nice light breakfast in the mornings. The staff was very accommodating!

Unfortunately the location is right on the edge of a grittier area and our room was on the street overlooking this. Could have used a curtain on the window between the room and a little hallway to lessen the light in the AM and the hot sun in the afternoon.

Eagle House is a historic building. Each room is different; not your standard cookie-cutter brand-name hotel. This was our third time staying here. In a great location in the old downtown with access to good food within the hotel and nearby; enjoyed 5-11 ($3 happy hour draft pints!) and Gabriels. The onsite staff is very friendly and accommodating, answering all comms quickly. Morning coffee and freshly baked scones are an especially nice touch. Parking right out front. An actual key to your room.

I like the accessible location to shops, restaurants, downtown events and the marina. The in-house lounge bar and restaurant is a plus which provided great drinks and tasty food! The room had a very nice sunset view and quiet.

I loved everything. It may not be for everyone but this historical place has every characteristic in its crooks and crannies. Some rooms have tvs and some don't, but wifi and carrier signal work just fine on my gadgets.

Location, was close to all downtown activities. Front desk was very kind and helpful. Room was pretty, On site restaurant was delicious.

Not the fault of the hotel, but there is a large group of homeless that seem to live on 2nd close to the hotel. They yell a lot at all hours... it was hard not to hear. The noise machine helped.

This beautiful old building (1888!!) has lovingly been turned into a great spot for food, drink and lodging. We loved the old furniture and art as well as the open first floor area which serves as the restaurant and bar. Very funky, very fun, great vibe! Our room was comfortable and clean and the beds gave us a good nights sleep. We received a warm greeting from whoever was at the front desk every time we saw them, even the dog! What a sweetheart. Had a delicious after-dinner drink & dessert in the bar. The bartender was hoofing it making complex drinks and ensuring everyone had what they needed. A true gem! Every single staff member went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Our biggest concern before arriving was the area where The Inn is located. Yes, there were homeless people (but every city has them). There were a few of them being being loud (around sunset & early in the morning). We drove to our dinner reservation and ensured that we didn't leave any valuables in the car. The homeless never paid any attention to us, just did their thing. Perhaps some ear plugs would have helped. I would also recommend eye shades if you are sensitive to sleeping in sunlight as there were no blackout shades on the windows.

Very helpful and nice staff! I got an answer to every question and need. Beautiful view from the room and common lounge at the top of the hotel, big comfortable room, excellent beds. Good bathroom, very clean, had good towels and amenities. Located just near the seashore.

Although it is a historical building, carpeting should be cleaned more thoroughly. It had a very unpleasant odor, and the room had to be constantly aired.

Loved the historical detail being maintained, unique furnishings, enjoyed meeting the haunted tour, room was huge, furnishing for a Queen, refridge and freezer a dream detail. Staff was pleasant and very helpful when needed. The bed was divine-slept like angels.

We expected location in older part of town due to historical origin. A little close to rescue mission for my taste. Although no issues. Homeless nicer than ours in Seattle.
